I think our war on terrorism did exactly that.
IT MADE THINGS MUCH WORSE.
And now we can't leave cause we f*ucked things up so much over there. That makes a lot stratigic sense. God bless America for doing the right thing.

I love the Lord and I want to learn and grow in my walk with the Lord and I also want the Holy spirirt to work more in my life. But I have a question what is real true worship of God? I have been in churches and gathering where people seemsed to worship the worship and the "high" of worship and be all emotional. I beleive I should be passionate about God and I want to be, but I want to experience TRUE worship with the Lord. Is worship just singing our raising ones hands and looking to heaven are there other ways to worship the Lord other than song or instrurment? I have been wondering about this question so I thoght I would post it.

"I fear that in the next century we will have many more Muslims in the United States if we do not adopt the strict immigration policies that I believe are necessary to preserve the values and beliefs traditional to the United States of America and to prevent our resources from being swamped."
-Virgil Goode

Does he not realize that the values and beliefs of the United States of America involve freedom of religion? This whole debacle came from a Muslim being elected into Congress. Goode was threatened by the thought of the Muslim being sworn in with the Quran instead of the Bible. Do you think that a person should be sworn in with the Bible, or with the holy book of their choice?

Isn't that part of the preaching, to love all, to love thy enemis too. Can you love everyone would be the realist question here. By loving everyone including your enemies, wouldn't that in turn make you a very poor judge of character. By loving everyone, wouldn't that make the word Love just a word and not a deep feeling. By loving everyone wouldn't that make you one and the same with everyone else leaving you raped of your individuality.

When we talk about your god, we are supposed to do so "philosophically." Why? Why not treat your god just like all other objects and devise experiments to detect his presence or absence?

The classic religious response is, "god must remain hidden. If he proved his existence, that would take away faith." This is clever -- here we have an object named god that proves its existence by completely hiding its existence. Of course, in the real world, any object that provides no evidence for its existence is classified as IMAGINARY.

Even more interesting, this object called god, which is supposedly hiding its existence completely, is in the meantime supposedly writing books, answering prayers and incarnating itself. How can that be?

Could it be the reason why we can find no empirical evidence for your god's existence is not because "your god is a magical being completely able to hide from us." It is because your god is imaginary?
Hmmmmmm, yet people still believe in this fairytale?

I know Mormons pay 10% of their income for tithing (and I understand tithe actually means 10%), but do other religions have a tithe? Is it an optional thing? I guess it's always optional, as we have a choice, but you get the point.

on non-believers? Why do we sugar coat everything and baby them? Oh honey, I know that you don't believe, but let me tell you about this wonderful gift! No, they already know about it, unless they have been living in a cave their whole life! They have willfully chosen not to accept it. So shouldn't we just come right out and say it: " You have used the free will that God gave you, to reject Him. You are consumed with sin. You enjoy sin, you commit the most awful, perverted sins with no hopes of stopping. And still you ignore God. He calls out to you, you are reminded of Him daily but yet you laugh in His face, rejecting Him. If you do not stop, you will face eternal damnation." Let's stop sugar coating it, people. Let's be blunt about it and spread God's Word from the highest parts of the world to the lowest!!!!!
