to worship in truth i believe is to worship God as God revealed Himself to be, and on God's terms. do we go to church to get a spiritual buzz to make ourselves feel better. that it not worship God ni truth but seekign to get what we want from God. woudl you still love God if you didn't particuarlly feel anything? In that case you would have to rely on God's promise, that He is always with you. how abotu that? trusting God's word instead of using God for one's own end. i think that is true worship

True worship is your personal relationship with CHRIST. Worship shows him you love him. Whether it be in song, actions, or prayer. There are many forms of worship. As long as you are following GOD's will you are worshiping. Dont question what he says just do it. Remember he has already gone down the road you are on when it gets rough he will carry you thru it. Being a a Christian in todays world is not an easy path but it is the right path and the only way to get to heaven.

I think that your thirst for further knowledge of God is beautiful. While worshipping in song and dance (as in dancing before the Lord, like David) and on instruments is very important, there is something else that people sometimes overlook. You're supposed to let your whole life worship the Lord. And I don't mean yelling praises to the sky every 15 seconds while you are at work. What I'm saying is, everything that you do in your life, especially while you are around other people, is to glorify God. Letting your love for God show on the outside in your daily life is just as important as other worship.
Good Luck! Let your life's song sing of God! And don't forget to to take God at His word and deed.

True worship from me to God is so personalized I believe that to it God has its own unduplicatable identification, what I mean by that is be yourself and let it come spontaneously and from the heart, there is many groups like you have mentioned that worship there worship, its all showy, and if your not bouncing around you must be living in sin. Remember what Jesus said about the hypocrites, they LOVE to be seen and heard of men, think about it, some people know right when to say Amen, or Praise the Lord.

Worshipping God is more than just singing and raising one's hands (the latter being insignificant, in fact). When you only perform these actions and nothing else, your "worship" becomes ritualistic and loses meaning. You have to show in your everyday life that you obey God, by doing what he asks of us. The Bible tells us everything we need to know on how to please God. One of the most important things is to preach his Word, as Jesus told his followers to do. Praying is also important, but your prayers must come from the heart and not be the same one over and over. The Bible tells us what God dislikes and what he likes. Also, perhaps most importantly, to be close to someone, you must know their name. To refer to God simply as "God" or "Lord" all the time is impersonal. God's name as written in the Bible is YHWH, which, since it is impossible to know the exact pronunciation, may be approximated as Jehovah. Don't forget to read the Bible daily. Hope this helps.

You worship God everyday by the way you live your life in accord with his teachings and principles. Worship should not be about a
"high". How did Jesus worship? He preached, he taught his disciples how to teach others, he lived his life according to the law.
We show we believe him, by how we treat others. When the Pharisees asked Jesus what was the greatest commandment, he answered at Matthew 22: 37 "You must love your God Jehovah with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with our whole mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. The second, like it, is this, You must love your neighbor as yourself."
Although singing can be part of our worship, it is by far the most important.

Worshiping God is about your personal walk with God. It is about spending time studying the bible to get to know His character and who you are in God. Church isn't a building or a tradition or order of things, church is the body of Christ, the people.
God loves it when we lift our voices up to Him singing His praises, but He loves it too when we have a personal, daily relationship with Him; when He is at our side walking with us every day; when everything we do, say, think and feel is filtered through what we have learned by reading His Word. Everyone grows in the Lord at different rates and are at different stages in their growth, but we have one thing in common - we love Him and want to get to know Him more and follow Him more closely.
If you met someone and wanted to have a friendship/relationship with him, you would spend time calling him, asking him questions, spending time with him to get to know him better. That's how you have a relationship with God - get to know Him better through His Word and fellowship with other believers. You won't always agree with everything, but you will discover a main theme and that the love each of us feels for God is the same, our path to developing our relationship with Him is different.
Be blessed and may your path be bright with His light and His love.

True worship with God is having a one on one relationship with him. Stay in constant pray with him. Pray while your at work. Pray while your driving, pray whenever you get time to yourself. Constantly worship him and thank Him for all that you have all that he has blessed you to be. Stay in his word. In order to really truly get to know him constantly set aside time to stay in his word and mediate on it so that it becomes apart of your life. May God bless you and I thank you for posting such a beautiful question.
