I for example believe that except for the most rare of occasions (like with Hitler, and even then its debatable to me) can a person in a lifetime earn an eternity of the worst punishment imaginable. I don't believe the lying and fornication and murdering of the average person qualifies them for it. Not for an eternity. Is there anything like that with you, or do you firmly believe everything in the Bible?

Also, is it sinful to disagree with the Bible?

I try to make New Years resolutions, and some I complete and some I don't. Just wondering who else out there is kind of like me.

Indeed they seem to think that they should be respected even when evidence is firmly against them. They claim they are entitled to high political office and power. We don't respect people who believe in leprachauns FOR believing in leprachauns. Why should we make an exception for people who believe in a god, who talk to that god in the hope that he will do things they want him to do, listen to someone in a funny outfit talk about him, and sing dreary songs about him?

Does anyone believe in demons, spirits or ghosts? This past year I didn't believe in things like this but I've experienced some crazy, unexplainable things this past year. I've seen some unexplainable things. I still don't understand or know what happened or why it happened to me. I was wondering does anyone believe or have experienced anything weird involving ghosts, spirits, demons, etc? By the way, let's keep the "You're just crazy" answers to a minimum. :-)

a holiday such as Christmas, which has been shown to have been adopted from a pagan holiday? Why do we continue to celebrate the birth of Christ when in the Bible itself, there is no mention of Christmas or of celebrating his birth? If we are to believe what is in the bible, how can we pervert the bible and make claims that are not biblical?

Does he let little girls get Raped? or young children be born with Diseases that let them live just long enough to realize what life is all about, then they die a horribly painfull death? Yet I hear Christians everyday say that God helped me drive through the snowstorm....or God was with me at my job interview and he blessed me with a job....so why does he bless you but he lets horrible things happen to innocent people. I have heard its to teach us lessons about life...but what lesson could an 8 year old with terminal cancer need to learn.

Acts19:13-16KJV"..certain vagabond jews..exorcists..took upon them to call over which had evil spirits saying we adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth..the evil spirt answered and said Jesus I know..Paul I know but who are ye?The man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them and overcame them..they fled out of the house naked and wounded" I would'nt mind a couple of vagabonds up in here to boogie out in the same fashion. That Phelps putz comes to mind as well. Peace out ya'll peace out, and let the trash talk from the vagabonds commence. LOL (If u aint a vagabond, don't be afraid God knows the difference, but the demons do too. LOL Make sure your pants belt is good and sturdy, just in case LOL).

Was it because Mary was simple village girl who did not abused herself from the trends of her evolving culture? Or was it because of her honesty and belief in God. How about if she was not found virgin, by Angel Gabriel, would the plan be carried out still? Yes, many girls waited for such great news, the very news that Mary heard from the angel Gabriel, that she will conceived the baby, that must be born, and be named Jesus, meaning the Savior. What an honor for such a girl with humble beginning. Yet, God was pleased with Mary with the truthfulness within her, and in return Mary was in great jubilee of knowing that was chosen to be the earthly mother of Jesus, the savior of the world.

soul get transmigrate to the another body actually as per our karma(actions) of our life we get our new body as result and it describe in our scriptures that as per our consciousness level of death time we get the same body because our mind is fix up over there in that so that thing become our destiny so our karma and consciousness of our life taking us to the new life so the best way is to live a positive thinking life in which we just thankful to Lord that he is provinding us this human body which is very rare

Take the following example:
An Atheist says "Hey, Christians\Catholics\etc., blah, blah, blah God doesn't exist and you are all deluding yourselves." Then the Christians\Catholics\etc. rally back "Hey, Atheist, blah, blah, blah accept Jesus\Allah\Harry Potter\etc. as your Savior or you will go You Know Where when you die."

If the premise holds that God does his work through us, i.e. he is speaking his will through both the Atheist and the Christians\Catholics\etc., does it not seem that God likes to argue with himself? Has he nothing better to do?

I've got tons of Christmas shopping to do - does God? No, he just gives me a Yahoo Answers addiction so he can talk to himself all day long. I feel so used by the Big Man...how about you?

Do you believe that you will have some kind of physical existance or that you will just exist as a soul? Do you expect any special rewards in heaven or however you call your "positive afterlife"? How do you think that people will be punished in hell, if you believe in a hell?

John 18
"10Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant's name was Malchus.) "

Wouldn't that be the right thing to do?

All I find here is: my belief is this, your belief is that, I/We are so great, you are a piece of ****. Can we stop this point scoring and get down to really understanding each others ideas and beliefs for a change? Those that do ask honest questions or give an honest reply get drowned out by the point scorers.
