Critics often ask why Christianity is any better than any other religion in the world. After all, of all the religions that exist how can it be that only Christianity is true? If God exists, why can't God use different religions? Don't all paths lead to God? These kinds of questions are asked all the time of Christians and unfortunately the answers aren't always very good ones particularly when dealing with people who have a relativistic truth base and don't believe in absolutes.
If truth is relative, then the statement that truth is relative is an absolute truth and would be self defeating statement by proving that truth is not relative. But, if truth is absolute, then the statement "truth is absolute" is true and not self defeating. It is true that truth exists. However, not all that is believed to be true actually is true. Therefore, all belief systems cannot be true since they often contradict each other in profound ways.

Have you noticed that atheists spend more time talking about how God doesn't exist on here than Christians do saying He does? So God is winning both ways because even the atheists are talking about Him.

He created the Devil knowing Full well everything that the Devil would do before he did or does it? Therefore...In order to allow evil you have to Create it right? Since God is the Creator of everything...then he Created Evil right?

In the theory of evolution: (Def: In common usage, people often use the word theory to signify a conjecture, an opinion, or a speculation. In this usage, a theory is not necessarily based on facts; in other words, it is not required to be consistent with true descriptions of reality), man evolved from monkeys....NOT from God. If this is true.......where did monkeys come from? Rats? Where did they come from? Everything has to start somewhere. Where did everything start? (The Big Bang THEORY?)

The only logical answer is an UNKNOWN cause......GOD!!!!!!

I note that when many questions are asked of one group, the other jumps in and answers. These answers always assume a defensive posture. One who is truly convinced he knows an answer has no need to be defensive.

So my questions is Since you truly do not know, (and r inside aware you do not know),, why are you answering questions when you should be asking some??

I have been taking notes and if a question is asked of one group (addressed clearly to) there are usually about an equal number of answers from both sides, interesting huh?

Why do you have to believe in God to be a good person? Can you believe in yourself to have good morals? If yes, why do people tell me that I must believe in God to have good morals, no God=no orders and no morals.

When we say grace at meals, and my father is there, he will eat and make jokes during grace. He does believe in God. But, that's it.
Do you think he should respect us, and our home to keep his mouth quiet? Should I say something to him? It makes a bad example for my 1, 2 and 6 year old.

He preached that WWIII has already begun as his father predicted years ago and that Christ will be coming back any day now.

He says the signs in Revelations have come to past and Christians should send in donations to assist in getting all Jews back to Israel and to help them in everyway because that's how Christians will be allowed in Heaven.

In Protestant faith, do our souls go directly to heaven after we die (assuming we are going up, not down lol) or are in some kind of limbo and go all at the same time as everyone else at the end of life as we know it, at the Lord's coming?

Who of us are decendants of Adam and Eve and who could be decendants of the giants that were here during the same time ?

You do not believe in evalution yet how do you explain all the races on earth today, which of these races is a decendant of Adam and Eve. Or, from those two beings have evolved all these different races.

You got to have it one way or the other, which is it? God, yes. Creation, yes. Evalution after creation, yes. Why can't we have evalution and creation ? does one exclude the other ?

Could it be that the creation of God on this planet was genes ?

That is why your gene pool is so close to everything that has a heart beat.

It seems when someone cannot grasp something or has no answer, they try to explain it away with religion. Then we have the battles of the religions.
