That is a question you should ask him in prayer. I am not God and cannot personally answer for him, nor can anyone on this forum. Do you really want God to step in? You realize the changes that would bring for all humankind. If that is what you are asking, than know that you are not alone. Keep praying, keep asking and keep searching, God will provide you with an answer.

If you were to study the Bible you would learn that Jehovah God has everything under control. In his due time He will bring about destruction of all the wicked and restore peace and harmony like it was before Adam and Eve sinned and lost everlasting life and paradise for all mankind.
Why not visit your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. They have a thorough and accurate understanding of the Holy Scriptures and would be only too happy to conduct a free home bible study with you. Then you will learn of God's purpose not only for the earth, but for all obedient mankind. You will learn why wickedness prevails. What happens to the dead?Just to mention a few.

The world is not God's.
The world is controlled by Satan. 1 John 5:19 says that.
God is, however, quite active.
He is having a certain message made known. Matthew 24:14.
He is inviting all to become a part of HIS people Acts 15:14
He will intervene to set matters straight.
Psalm 37:10,11

He doesn't. When His people show up or raise a voice against a situation, He's showing up too.

You shouldn't blame God for the messes that we've clearly made. He gave us the choice to either do things His way or our own. We clearly chose our own. It's the very first story in the Bible.

He is not silent. He is gauging who learns from God/Jesus preaching, who believes in Him/Jesus WORDS, who has faith in the Savior, who cleanses and purify their heart for God, who turns away from sin and resist satan temptations...then judgement somes very soon after practicing utmost freewill.
Those who allies for God: can be seen in their life the practical living of Love, Peace, Joy, Harmony, Helping one another, Tolerance, Willingness, Patience, Endurance in the grace of God
Those against God are always: hatred, pride, prejudice, revenge,
always fights for supremacy, sinful, destructions, killings, etc.
