I imagine the perfect world where there are no mentions of god, religion or bibles. That would be better than and probably lead to whirrled peas.

Or was it Pontius Pilate or Matthew or Mark or Luke or John or King James of England or was it God himself?

And who topped them off with these other words, "What I have written, I have written."

And if you were asked to draw a cartoon of a God on a cross, who will you draw?

Will it be original or will it be another copy-cat version of the millions that adorn so many walls and people's chest and arms and prayer books?

I like the one that John Paul ii carried around with him best.

And remember when the angels said, 'O Mary, Allah has chosen thee and purified thee and chosen thee above all women of the time.'

When the angels said, 'O Mary, God gives thee glad tidings of a son through a Word from Him; his name shall be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, honoured in this world and in the next, and of those who are granted nearness to God;

And sets forth as an example Mary, the daughter of Imr›n, who guarded her chastity - so We breathed into him of Our Spirit -and she fulfilled the prophecy conveyed to her in the words of her Lord contained in His Books and she was one of the obedient.

There is a mystery in the Gospel in what jesus said. "No man born of woman was ever greater than John the Baptist," says Jesus, "but the least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John." Does Jesus Christ mean to teach us that John the Baptist and all the Prophets and the righteous men were outside the Kingdom of God?

Many of you Christians claim that having salvation by just believing that "Jesus shed his blood on the Cross at Mount cavalry" for your sins, can guarantee you to enter the kingdom of God.
Do you Christians have the right to believe that the "least" among you is "greater" than all the Prophets while we see most of the christians today commit sins which are very disgustiong and abominable while prophets are more holier than they are ???

Don't you think it is strange that almost everything living consists of male and female. Why it has to come that way. What is more, is each pair knows how to mate or intercourse for reproduction or entertainment or for joy. Some one must have taught the living things how to do it. If you are innocent and a opposite sex is put to sleep with you, would you know how to do loving making. I doubt it. Who is that fellow teaching you and show you the way to do it . Correctly. In this regard, child birth or egg laying seems to be a painful and hard labour. How comes this continue? In fact, as aware, the cell reproduces itself by breaking up. I don't know whether this is painful but it does not give them any joy before multiplying itself. How could anyone explain how even the cell know how to reproduce unless it is taught that way? Who is he?

And remember when you said, 'O Moses, we will not believe thee until we see Allah face to face;' then the thunderbolt overtook you, while you witnessed with your own eyes the consequences of your conduct.

And remember when you said, 'O Moses, surely we will not remain content with one kind of food; pray, then, to thy Lord for us that He may bring forth for us of what the earth grows - of its herbs and its cucumbers and its wheat and its lentils and its onions.' He said, 'Would you take in exchange that which is worse for that which is better? Go down to some town and there is for you what you ask.' And they were smitten with abasement and destitution, and they incurred the wrath of Allah; that was because they rejected the Signs of Allah and sought to slay the Prophets unjustly; this was because they rebelled and transgressed.

And verily We gave Moses the Book and caused Messengers to follow in his footsteps after him; and to Jesus, son of Mary, We gave manifest Signs, and strengthened him with the Spirit of Holiness. Will you, then, every time a Messenger comes to you with what you yourselves desire not, behave arrogantly and treat some as liars and slay others?

Do you do it for the heck of it or do you actually think you are making a change here or making your mark?

I ask this because I've seen many an atheist defend Atheism with the same dogmatic tone used by belivers, which entails the risk of Atheism being seen as yet another religion, and therefore shedding its rational aura, to put it somehow.

Assuming that there is a Heaven and a Hell where will you end up? Knowing that God is holy and will let nothing into his holy presence that would defile his kingdom, where will you end up. If somebody murdered your mothers and the person got away with it in court, you would think the judge is not being fair, right? The bottom line the judge will not let him go free, if he is just. Say you commited a crime, the judge will punish you for it right? Same as God looking at sin, it deserves to be punished. But say somebody comes in and pays your fine for you so you can be free and you do not have to go to prison. That is what Jesus did for us on the cross so our sins can be forgiven as we are all sinners and born into it. Yes Belief in Jesus is a choice you make in this life. If you believe in him and confess your sins you will be forgiven, and turn from your ways., you will pass from death into life Listen folks, Hell was not created for Humans, it was created for Satan and his demons.

I'm a saved sinner and I'm just wondering why some unsaved sinners think Christmas is offensive because we aren't shoving our beliefs down your throats just because Christmas has the word "Christ" in it doesn't mean that we are trying to put our beliefs on you. Christmas was what it was named in the beginning so we didn't come up with that name. State your answer. I'm open minded.

As identified by Erving Goffman, a total institution is defined as an institution that regulates all aspects of a person's life under a single authority. There are four common traits of total institutions:

(1) All aspects of life are conducted in the same place under the control of a single authority.
(2) Any activities within the institution are conducted in the company of others in the same circumstances.
(3) The authorities devise rules and schedule activities without consulting the participants.
(4) All aspects of life within a total institution are designed to fulfill the purpose of the organization.

Do you think that all four of these characteristics can be attributed to the church? I do, and so do most other sociologists. What seems odd to me is that other examples of total institutions include a prison and a mental hospital.

Church.... prison.... mental hospital.... yeah, I can see the connection.

Go to the story of Thurman Scrivner, or any other one you find interesting. Dozens of miracles that defy medicine and science recorded here. You need real one player to play them. You have to save the files, not open them to directly view for some reason.

Well.....any thoughts/changes of opinion? Here is the proof you say you desire............do you?
