With the failure of Michael Behe and his theory of Irreducible Complexity in the flagellum and other organisms, is it now (or better yet, always been) that IC really means lazyness to think?

No. I think it's more "We have to think of SOMETHING that won't offend God because -- GASP -- evolution is starting to make SENSE!!!!"

Anything labeled "intelligent design" or "irreductible complexity" stems from intellectual cowardice, not actual science.
So yes, you are correct.
And thanks for the link to the Flagellum. Funny how actual science kicks the crap out of mythology huh?
