That's nice, but what percentage of the whole country is that 93%. Less than 20% I'll bet. stats mean nothing if you only include part of the results.

I think I might have heard about this poll recently. However, for those who aren't certain, I have this to say: if there were no heaven, hell, or God (which there are), am I not better off anyway for living my life as a Christian? Though some might snort right away at hearing that, think about it: "somehow", I've managed to escape from my guilt. "Somehow", I can get through life feeling content, having a source of joy, and hopefully with good relations to other peoples. I could go on, but I'll stop. The sum of it, perhaps, is this: I would have a lasting sense of purpose. And if, in the end, there was no heaven, hell, or God (even though there are), at least I would have led a purposed life, even though I had made countless mistakes throughout the way. And since there IS a heaven, hell, and God, I then get to go to heaven, because of what Jesus Christ did for me! I don't have to suffer the punishment for all the times I messed up! Sure, some may think Christianity is boring, or that their morals are too tight, but hey, can someone live the party life forever? Can they really be getting drunk everynight, right up to the night they celebrate retirement? "Just watch me", one might say. OK. I'll watch you. And that one had better hope they don't die of HIV or something before they GET to retirement, or die by DIU. So for those who say, "I don't know if there is a God, but I don't know if I WANT to know", that is just like being inside of your house saying, "I don't know if there is an outside, but I don't want to know"! Of course, not wanting to know about God would have way bigger implications later on, but even something like this would just be ridiculous! As for those who are convinced that there IS no God, read this:

I hope that this helps, God bless!

How can someone claim membership to a denomination of worship of God and not have certainty in their beliefs?

I am absolutely certain, but I think this poll must be biased to produce a number like 76% of Protestants not being sure. My assumption would be they were not asking them what denomination they belonged to but which one they affiliated themselves with. Odds are most of 7% of Born-Agains that did not agree were not church-goers.

I find it interesting a number of catholics dont even believe in God. Though they probably just polled people walking out so you never know who youre going to find in that mix. If that being the case, Im not surprised by the born again number.

Okay, first of all, was this an american question?
There are few people in this world who can't or won't believe in something or someone they can't see.
What is to come will change their minds but then it will be to late for them.
I believe in God, I can always feel his presence when I need him the most.

I have read something here that was very insightful "You cannot prove that something doesn't exist". I wholeheartedly agree.
