Actually it was an Essenian scroll. But, in the 3rd century when the Relious leaders (all males) voted on which scroll would become the "Bible", they rejected the Essenian scrolls.

Why? These Essenian scrolls included Jesus' instructions to Pray to Our Father in Heaven, and Our Mother of Earth (words to that effect).

Hey, you are right. The Gospel of Jesus really makes sense. Think about it. Jesus was sent on a mission to bring the word of God to Mankind. He was a Jew, and Jews put great faith in the written word of God. Does it not make sense that God would make sure that Jesus was literate and would write down his teachings?

God personally engraved a set of the 10 Commandments and gave them to Moses and they shlepped them around in the Ark of the Covenant for the longest time. So why would not God, in sending his one and only Messiah to Mankind not have him spend some time writing down his teachings?

The only problem is that there is no Book of Jesus anywhere. We have books written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, and only some of them ever actually met Jesus. Paul wrote a lot, but he never made Jesus' acquaintance, at least not before the crucifixion.

If there were a Book of Jesus, would God actually allow it to be lost?

So yes, it should be in the Bible, and it seems that it isn't, because it appears that it was never written.

Why?

Lord knows...

The Bible doesn't show Jesus ever being educated, much less writing anything down, except on the dirt.

because Jesus did not write a Gospel account of his life.

Because it most likely wasn't written by him. AND didn't give the message the church leaders liked (i.e. do unto other as to self, etc. etc.) Or it was totally in the wrong period of time. Something like that. If people would watch educational television they would know.
