None of the old Jewish feasts or observances are of any merit in this new testament age of grace.

the obervances decribed in the Bible were given to the nation of Israel aka the Jews.

They are the only ones who are obligated to do them and are rewarded for doing so.

a Christian is free to do them as well, but there is no commandment compeling them to do so.

If it weren't for the events of Hanukkah, there would have been no Jesus, no Christianity, and no Christmas!
