i wanted to know if most Atheists hate people of ALL other religions and think they are all stupid and delusional. Or, do they just feel that way about those who push their religion on others. I also wanted to know the Atheists take on the Golden Ratio?

I know it's hard for some people to swallow. Maybe (some) Christians tie Islam to terrorism because they're both in the middle-east, and they don't like the idea of terrorists worshipping their same God, who knows?

Anyway, I feel I need to point out that I'm not asking for anyones opinion of this, or whether or not it's true. I already know that it is. I just need some documentation to back that up, and it's hard to find... probably because of the reason I suggested in my top paragraph. If anyone knows where I can find evidence, or claims from reliable sources that the same God is worshipped, I's appreciate a link.

I am of the opinion that there are people who have sex and there are people who don't, end of story. So why take a technicality (say, same-sex sex) and make it into an Issue? How come social constructs (as defined by Michel Foucault) such as "gay", "straight", and other nonsense matter so much to so many people?

I realize that 6 million Jewish people were butchered and starved and gassed to death. Then their bodies were treated in the most inhumane manner. I am sometimes sick just thinking about it. I also remember that it is Channackah. This is time of year that Jews celebrate the heroism of the Maccebees and liberty. My question is this. If you could, would you allow yourself to be one of those 6 million if you knew that because of your sacrifice the Nation of Israel was to birthed in 1948?

I have a daughter who will be 2 in February. My husband and I were both raised protestant, but for a variety of reasons, we don't feel comfortable raising her in a church setting. We would like to raise her secularly. I have been looking into Secular Humanism but so far have found the attitudes in these circles to have some of the same characteristics that have turned me off to religion: The crazy "I'm right-- I can't even believe that you believe something else... are you stupid?" attitude.

I would like to become more exposed to some of the eastern philosphies, but really have no idea where to start. I would love some feedback from people who have raised their children outside of the church (on purpose). What types of challenges have you had? Thoughts in general.

I'm just wondering what you would think when a Christian says,

"In no way was Jesus tourtured any less than me."

I was just kinda floored that a Christian actually said this and wondered what you think of it.

I based my question from these verses from NKJV Bible:

1 John 3:9
Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”
