Is there any REASONABLE proof of a higher power?

I expect to get answers like 'the bible' and 'our existence'... but these are not proof nor reasonable. Give me your best answer.

I pray and meditate and I have exercised faith and I am still in pain and have to take a lot of medication to walk? Why am I not ok?
It says if you have faith in the bible you can move mountains and so much and I have faith yet I am in pain. I don't even usually say it because I try to think positive and exercise faith, I am frustrated.

You can't use something as proof when it's truthfulness is what is in question. Does this not make sense?

You can really only fit one more person. Before it sits below the water line.

This is a difficult question and in all trivial aspects I have debated this for the past six months. I am not a religious expert but I do know a little about some of the main ones, I myself am agnostic. I was raised through Christianity and a Methodist however after learning different religious ways I lost my belief in Christianity as the true Faith. There are many ways to God. My entire Dad's family is Jewish. Now to my question: Six months ago before my graduation my grandfather passed away, it was difficult for me as we were close. He was of the Jewish faith, I must know. In the Christian light, would he go to hell? What is the Jewish belief on death and salvation? I am very secure in my beliefs and how I feel, yet I have been bothered by how that stands in other religions that feel they are dominate...For the dominate religions do only its followers reach that God?

what kind of ceremony do you want?
I want something far away from any church, probably be cremated, something kind of long, and the people I care about have a nice time remembering not just crying all the time, then maybe thrown away in a place I like, you?

Okay, I'm only 13...and I'm an Athiest. (no trying to convince me God exsists) and I wanna ask all you stereotypes out therewhy you lump people into catgories. You say Athiests are all people putting their beliefs on others, when I feel as if some of you are trying to put your beliefs on me. Why do you all insist on convincing people there is a god when you should only worry for yourself? And if they still don't agree with you, you lump them into careless prtogainists. Why?

Christmas is not Christ's real birthday. We know that he was born sometime in the Spring. Christmas is based upon the pagan holiday of St. Nicholas. Why do so many people think it's Christ's birthday?

I understand that most of the problem is with the ecclesiastical heavy-handedness of the Church of Christ, Scientist. But why is it that ex-members of the church, even after leaving or being thrown out, are almost anathema to work with other New Thought Groups? Is it a slavish devotion to Mary Baker Eddy, or what?

or from a danger?
for example, once I was on a scooter with my brother, he was going fast. suddenly he screamed " DUCK " and we both lowered our heads.
after a few yards he stopped and we were horrified to see back,
there was an electric cable, hanging in the middle of the road, from one pole to other across the road...it was so low it could slash our throats...I still thank God for saving us that day.

we could get our throats cut, if he wouldn't notice.

(1) 2+2=4
(2) Think about how improbable that is.
(3) If the universe were left to random chance, 2+24 would probably not equal 4.
(4) Instead, it might be equal to -43, or 7,894,321,695,844, or something else.
(5) Only God could make 2+2=4.
(6) Therefore, God exists.

I know the myths of the nativity cannot be all correct. because there are so many non biblical manuscripts that have other stories and traditions?
How old was mary when she conceived. most people believe she was under 16. how old was she when she died? how many children did she give birth too?
How old was Joseph? at least one manuscript says he was very old and already had had one wife and would've refused the betrothal of mary because he was too old?
have you heard of the tradition of the flower that budded off of josephs Stick as a sign of the coming messiah? most nativity narations dont include this!
Was Mary a true virgin, or just a maiden? did she have an immaculate conception and was perpetually a virgin?
Was joseph REALLY so poor and desolate that he could afford a room at the inn? or was he so poor that he could not afford a room, or even own a donkey?
Was the angel that appeared to the shepherds from heaven or just a messenger child sent from bethlahem?
there are more
