God works in mysterious ways. Prayer and meditation are a way to tap into God's network. The miricles of science and the leaps and bounds in the medical field are a part of God's work and healing also. Have faith and know this, anything is possible through God with strengthens me!

General Prayer and meditation have benefits if we follow the method correctly. At least the effect is spiritual. However like many other efforts, the ultimate result is from God. If God destined us to be healthy through meditation, we will be healthy. It depends on the will of God.
Please see this analogy: Most people can cure their headache by taking Aspirin or Panadol. But some may take Aspirin or Panadol and the headache still doesn't want to go away. Do we immediately say that Aspirin or Panadol is false medicine just because some people are cured by it and some don't? No. They are still good medicines even though not all can be cured by Aspirin or Panadol.
Please also understand that sickness (including arthritis) from the spiritual perspective, is not all bad. Sometimes sickness is a test of faith and whoever persevere & be patience will be rewarded in the hereinafter. (Normally the reward is 10 times greater that being cured from the sickness).

I am sorry that you are not feeling relief from all that you do. I have the same situation and I am feeling less positive about the mind and body connect. It is important that you report pain to your doctor. Don't feel like you are whining. They need to know if there is an increase. I have been put through all of the quack mumbo jumbo and I am sick of it. Just keep moving around to avoid stiffness and take the meds. If you are having a terribly bad day, then take the day off and watch the world go by. You can only do so much when you have so much pain and stiffness. Best of luck to you! I hope you have a nice holiday, too. Be easy on yourself.

And rightly so, pain is a frustrating thing. Prayer is a fascinating and on occasion frustrating thing as well. I used to conduct healing services on 3 services a week-end. Many people would come forward sometimes - other times not. Sometimes miraculous healings occured - obvious ones. Other times it took longer to recognize. And still others not at all.
I've now been disabled 10 years. I too have wondered over that text - don't I have enough faith? How come this doesn't "work" for me. During this time, many people asked me to pray for them - an uncle cured of cancer/a daughter to escape an abusive relationship/a job/etc etc. i came to the realization that I didn't know how to pray in all the situations.
Then I realized I didn't know how to pray in any of them - including my own. One day God opened my eyes to how i am to pray: Our Father...THY Will be done / THY kingdom come. It is simpler and I find it makes more sense. I don't like the disability, but in praying through it, offering even that to God, I have moved that mountain. I still may have the symptoms, but the disability is cast into the sea.
Example if I may. I used to be an orator/preacher. Now my voice is mush many days. Frustrates you know which location out of me - but it is surprizing how the slower talk and walk, w/ cane, have let me see and speak w/ God's children i never would have "seen' before in my 3 piece suit rushing to another important meeting.
God hasn't abandoned you nor neglected you. God cherishes you so much. Each tear you shed is like a precious pearl for God that he will never take lightly. Pray through your pain - God is there.

I know exactly how you feel. I suffer with the same condition in my right foot and ankle because I crushed them in an accident decade ago. Sometimes the pain is so bad, I just want to have the damn thing cut off.
I don't know why God has chosen not to heal me, or at least ease the pain. I cant figure Him out but I do know that he loves me (us) and has a good reason for doing or not doing everything. This is where faith, trust and an *** load of Advil come in until we can get to the other side and get all of our questions answered.
Hang in there girl!

Which is harder for truth to heal, a paper cut or arthritis? If Jesus were in front of you, would he say, “I can heal the arthritis, but it will take longer?” No. The healing would simply take place. Why? Because He was not governed in any manner from human beliefs, but understood spiritual truth as ever present, even here and now. We, in this age, must see a mountain spiritually and then we can move it.
The blueprint for man is spiritual, and that is the only man God has created. That is how and why Jesus could restore (heal) people to their perfect state of being, without a painful sense or a diseased condition.
If the condition to be overcome is a material mountain, it will just sit. If it is exposed that it is a lie and did not come from God, it loses its seeming material form, and the condition can be left by the wayside.
In heaven, people are not going to have faith in anything or any other power other than God, and this condition must be present in thought here and now, or the eternal healing will be delayed for a season.
Hold this thought and never put it down for another to come in. Thank God (be grateful in your heart without any doubt) that this condition is not true, because it did not come from God. He is not the author of any seeming sickness. As you do this you are undermining the foundation this (seeming) condition needs to be a “human reality,” and you are moving the mountain, even if it is inch by inch in the beginning.
If you wish to move mountains here and now, your faith must be entirely in God and His power as being the only power. If you think God shares His power with any substance a human can see or feel, you are mistaken, and this notion must be parted with. It is God that controls all, and when the healing comes from Him, it is eternal. If the healing seems to come from another power, it is not eternal, because it is not of God.
Many believe that sickness is allowed and sustained by God. However, if that were true, then Jesus would not have healed one person, because it would have been contrary to God’s will. I, in this age, do not give or send to my children anything but good and love. Know that God NEVER sends sickness or evil to His children, only love and perfection, the image of Himself.
I have moved mountains. You will too.

I have to answer honestly. The reason that prayer and faith does not help is because there is no god. I truly believe that. Meditation does not have anything to do with religion or belief in a god. I am and Atheist and I meditate. It is a means of relaxing the mind and body and done right it will help a lot of emotional and physical problems. It does not cure disease though. I have fibromyalgia and I know a little about the pain of arthritis because it is similar to fibro. Relaxation/visualization also helps with chronic pain. Hang in there.

The roots of health problems all have one common sorce the curse. In the begaining we have a curse placed on all men. Jesus has paid the price for the curse. So everything is in his power to correct or to fix and that is even true today. The queston is what are you asking God and do you hear him. God has instructed us to seek him in all things and to develope a ear to hear him speak. To be able to hear him speak you have to read the bible and plant its words in you heart. It is writen a curse does not come execpt for a cause. So you have to seek God on the cause of this curse and ask him to show you how to apply the word of God to break the curse. The word is given to undue the work of the devil the curse is part of his doing. Yes a sickness comes as a result of a curse. And christians walk into that trap all the times, Unforgiveness will being a curse in the flesh. Hard heart will bring a curse. Being unthankful will bring a curse. Doing wicked stuff will bring a curse. All these curses remain until you repent and allow God to bring the healing for each issue. So i will be praying for you. Faith is not faith until you actually have your heart right first. All the faith in Jesus will not save you until you repent first. Faith can be false faith also. Faith must first be honest and pure and holy before God thus it requires a heart check first.

Look sister, Jesus Christ is alive and shows his miracles mysterously in physically and spirituall but there are certain times in which God has planned to do so. Yes it is written that we can command the mountain to move if we have faith but it is also written that we do not have a faith just compared to a mustard seed as we are humans who have multiple pains and problems in Physical status. I also have been passed through such situations and my testimonly is just simmiliar like you. I was also suffering from blood cancer and the desease went to a very increased level that it was impossible for doctors but I prayed to Lord Jesus Christ for 7 years and 5 months and today I am healed and i praise him with all my heart and the doctors are suprosed to see my healing. You always confess through your mouth and praise him when you are in sorrow also because he is a living God who can hear and do. we cannot test God and sometimes God tests us to know our faith capacity I can help you out, for details please E-mail me to ashis_gurung@rediffmail.com.

First, I'm sorry about your condition. I hope you continue to seek professional medical help as well as remain positive about your future.
Second, don't get frustrated. Do not Hope "that" you will get better. Instead, Hope absolutely. Without conditions that must be fulfilled. Hope unconditionally, no matter what. Anything less than that, is not faith.
