I've known of people that were throw in insane asylums that thought they were monkeys, as far as I know of they are still there.
I've noticed most nonbelievers feel the same way, maybe they just haven't acted like one in front of the right person yet.

Dear Athiest,
I like to think there's a spiritual answer to everything, and I do the Christian kick, but..
Those Religeous Nutcases really get up my nose.
The institution of the church is a favoured dumping ground for all types of mentally impaired ie; Bipolar, Schitzophrenia, pedophilia,
dada dada da...
Nobodies can be important people and sicko's are forgiven..
I dont want it either.
The book wasnt bad reading,.
The Godman in-your-ear scripturitic biblimatic scitzophrenic social misfit be-like-me homophobic in the closet bible selling nutcase.....is making it look bad

They have such institutions all around the country. They are treated weekly on Sunday mornings by men with lofty doctoral degrees wearing black robes in large Gothic buildings.
Such treatment is supplied free of charge though a plate is passed where one can offer a donation for the services rendered.
Those who need to attend such therapeutic meetings are often so satisfied that they break out in loud vocal singing across the major chords of C, F, G, rarely breaking into minor keys or off-tempo jazz improvisation. The rhyme and meter can best be described as heavily redundant, predictable and such that might make one comatose if it were not for the group pressure to remain standing and project oneself continuously at 100+ decibel volume.
Unfortunately at the end of the calendar year coinciding with the traditional celebration of pagan holidays, this same group feels compelled to go into large public areas forcing innocent civilians to assimilate with them in apparrel, song and like-mindedness.
Hopefully this year they will stay in their churches and not attempt the public mind-meld.

I am an agnostic. However, I believe in unconditional freedom of religion, as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America.
Perhaps things are different in the Communist country in which you live. Here in the United States, we do not support such anti-American sentiments.

Dude .. if you don't like the Bible "bashers", (they don't actually *bash* the Bible) .. then why do you click on their questions and read their remarks ?? Why are you in R&S? You have freedom from them if you choose. Just go where they are not. If you can't stand the heat, get outta the kitchen!
I don't necessarily agree with them, but they don't bother me.

Maybe you should study some of those anatomy and physiology classes and realize how wonderfully and amazingly you were made and then say we just happened to get to be who we are by the luck of the draw. So we don't bother you so much you should probably hang out in the other sections. God bless you anyway.

Then what are you doing here in the Religious section. Go bother some aliens in the Immigration section or some Republicans and Democrats in the Politics section.

If you think people who believe in a God are crazy, hear this: There are people who believe they just came from Nothing! evolved over millions of years through chemical pools and claim their ancestors to be single celled organisms.

It would be funny to make an asylum in order to house the majority. Wouldn't it be simpler to keep the minority inside? (Just kidding--but you, on the other hand, sound alarmingly serious.)
