The Bible is still very applicable in our modern day society as it was hundreds of years ago. You think we are now too advanced but the same Bible says there is no new new thing under the sun. The word is the same yesterday, today and forever for God says "heaven and earth will pass away but my word will still remain.
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

No certainly not,
i think we need to update our knowledge and try to develop our understanding about these books.
Every time God has already updated his books by himself and latest version of his book is Holy Quran which is updated forever till this universe is exists.

Any religion that doesn't change to keep up with the times will fail. People are not going to live in the 11th century. The killing for God concept has got to be revised. The religions are over-due for change.

If you would follow the Bible's precepts, you would know that they are relevant to today. The Koran has never been relevant.
