Sorry to hear that...... you don't say why you are depressed.
Ever since an evangelical pastor visited & gave a sermon I've never had much to complain about.
The crux of his sermon was: "Count your blessings"
you have shoes? (there's ppl that'd give a weeks pay for a pair)
do you have your health? (theres ppl that spend every moment in pain,or on meds to combat same)
have your eyesight? (ask a blind person what they'd do for a chance to actually see something.)
The Psalms in the bible are good for depression. David lost everything,& had Saul chasin' after his azz, yet he still found solice in faith in God.It was all he had.....

More so than scripture, I've found this site http://www.quotegarden.com/index.html
to be something which can help me to find healing. There are people who have lived through so much, and what they have learned, what they share with their words, perspectives and experience has helped me many times.

I just came from the site, thinking I could put in a quote for you. I clicked on the Adversity, Perspective, & Perserverance quote sections. But I found so many that I couldn't possible put them all here. Go. Check it out. You will feel better.

I love genesis. I think it is the best part of the whole thing. But Matthew is very good as well. If you really ARE depressed, however, this is a treatable illness. Take this quiz, and if you find that your may be depressed get a referal to a therapist and a psychiatrist: http://www.depression.com/depression_questionnaire.html

Read Psalm 148. Then go for a long walk. Talk to a friend. If that doesn't help call CMH and make an appointment.

John 3: 16. I know it's been used so much. Actually so much people dont really understand the full meaning of it. They dont have the knowledge in their heart only their mind. God loves you so much He actually sent His only son. How freakin cool is that! You are amazing, a wonderful child of God. He loves you so much. You are a treasure in His heart.

St. Paul the great Apostle tells us: "Indeed, I consider that our present sufferings in this world are like NOTHING compared to the future glory which awaits us."

Jesus tells us: " I am the root and the offspring of David - the bright morning star."
