Is MacroEvolution a myth?

Micro evolution is not a myth. Macro evolution is a myth. Charles Darwin had an excuse for in his day archeology was fairly young. For a fish to become a reptile, to become a bird to become whatever else you need transitional fossils. And there are only several candidates while there should be thousands showing how a fish became a bird etc, etc. Why is this? Could it be that people choose to not believe in God because then they would be accountable for their actions? Evolution is a theory, not a fact.

You should find out what myth means. Then you should look up what macroevolution means. I can only assume you cannot deny microevolution (if you are in denial, no amount of dog breeds can convince you otherwise). There is nothing stopping microevolution from compounding into macro. A nice source for examples of macroevolution can be found at talkorigins.org.

The answer is "no." It is a fact.

The religious folks are always trying to disprove evolution. They know that after trying for thousands of years they still can't prove that there is a man living in a cloud. It has been proven that the story of Noah & the Arc is not the truth (how did Noah gather the 1 million different species of insects and where did he keep them aboard the Arc?). The Bible based religions know it's not the truth but they still insist that it's the word of God while they pass around the collection basket. Religion loves to blindfold it's followers. If the only proof of God's existence is because someone said so, then God is a myth.

properly first issues are first; why are you even asking this question in case you have already got an answer for your self? Why does yet another persons opinion rely to you except you have doubt? i actually am a spiritual individual and not a spiritual fanatic i've got faith interior the bible, yet I even have faith in technology. there is physically powerful there is evil there is warm there is chilly do you notice a development commencing to unfold? stability! stability is everywhere as long as you have an open suggestions. To worry something is to hate something and that detest grows into rage, yet with stability and popularity we can be happy and happy. Evolution is interior the bible confident, yet that doesn't make it divine. everybody has there very own opinion on what's devine however. Is devine something that isn't be able to be defined? or is devine something which may well be defined? To me if i will clarify it then extra possibly its no longer devine and if that's defined then its referred to as technology. All i will say is what you have faith is the respond is for you is the main obligatory answer.

There really isn't evidence for macro-evolution. The fossil record shows major phyla appearing suddenly and fully formed. Darwin's theory of gradual change means that transitional forms should be evident in the millions after 150 years of paleontology, but they are conspiculously absent. This casts doubt on the whole idea of common ancestry. It seems that the "Tree of Life" looks more like a lawn.

Micro-evolution is well-documented, but macro-evolution can only be believed based on a philosophical commitment, not any real evidence.

If macroevolution is a myth, microevolution is a myth. Macroevolution = microevolution + microevolution + etc. Evolution is as much "myth" as the earth going around the sun.

The bible is a myth.

I think it would help if you looked up what a myth is. Try Joseph Campbell, he's very good.

Evolution is just a mechanical process. A series of algorithms really. In fact here are two software programs that use these algorithms (and the last time I looked, there were no software programs that used 'myths' for programing algorithms)...

NASA built an antenna using 'evolution' algorithms:

Of course Evolution is false.. Who in their right mind would believe in the physical evidence of fossils in museums around the world when you can get your entire education from a book written by men 2000 years ago... Men don't lie! Not even for power and wealth!!

No, they are not myths, just very poorly understood.
Let me just make a list of some simple facts that you would have to ignore if you thought it was a myth.

Fact -all life start as a single cell (you in the womb or a mustard seed)

Fact-no one has witnessed any complex living things "assembled" by God

Fact-humans have witnessed the gestations of many living things (growth from a single cell to a complex animal). In fact you can see it on "In the Womb" on the National Geographic channel. This is a natural process by which the single cell acquires chemical material and grows and divides into it final structure--nothing like an assembly line or watchmaker.
http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/inthewombmultiples/

Fact -all life transmits genetic information in reproduction. This information determines how the single cell will grow by acquiring chemical material. The complexity of life is determined by the genetic information that is transmitted.
http://www.dnaftb.org/dnaftb/37/concept/index.html

Fact -No two living things are identical

Fact-no genetic code is error free. Because of entropy, no process can be error free.

Fact-complexity is a naturally occurring phenomenon, predictable enough to model.
http://www.scottcamazine.com/personal/selforganization/starlogo/starlogo.htm

Fact-the micro-evolution of the flu is predictable enough to calculate, which is done to determine the correct flu shot to distribute
http://dimacs.rutgers.edu/Workshops/Influenza/abstracts.html

Fact-evolution is based on the passing on of genetic information, DNA, which all life does, therefore proof of micro-evolution is proof of macro. It's just that human life spans are so short that witnessing macro is nearly impossible.

Fact-the variations of dogs are a direct result of manmade selections. This selection would be otherwise made by the trials of nature.
http://www.nationalgeographic.com/xpeditions/lessons/08/g912/dogsevolution.html

Fact - the discovery of DNA is directly attributed to the study of evolution
http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/article/_0/history_22

Fact - genetic engineering is used to produce a bacteria that creates insulin, changing the natural behavior and shape of that bacteria, which is now the dominant means of production saving millions of diabetics lives. This and other genetic engineering marvels prove the operation of DNA and its affects on biology.
http://www.biotech.wisc.edu/outreach/poster/biotech.pdf

Fact- you should be concerned if you have a family history of diabetes, heart disease or certain types of cancer. This is only rational if you believe in evolution because this assumes that the genetic information of your family predicts the operation of your body-the fundamental understanding of evolution.

No. It is not a myth. You don't have to believe it, but that won't make it go away. The myth is that christians can't believe in evolution.
