I think it is very possible because there are literary thousands of orthodox jews out there who are anti-israel. Why do people pull up the anti-semitism card when ever someone criticizes Israel? There is a lobby of zionists also trying to label all Criticism against Israel as Anti-Semitic and make i a criminal offence.
Just as you can be anti-Iraq war, or anti-Bush regime and be a proud and patriot American you can be anti-israel and be very pro-semitic.
BTW did you know Arabs are also Semitic.

I'm Jewish, and I'm anti-Israel. Obviously I can't also be anti-semitic.
To say that being anti-Israel is necessarily anti-semitic is like saying if you went back to the times of Elijah the prophet and were anti-Baal worship you'd be anti-semitic.

I certainly hope so! I don't think I'm an anti-semite but I really can't stand Israel and msot of what they stand for or have done since their inception. Plus I think they're a parasite on the Amreican taxpayer.

no longer unavoidably. If I see a submit of hers i will come to a decision according to what she says. The definition of antisemite is somebody who hates Jews so being a semite does not coach one cant be antisemitic. Even Jews could be antisemites and a few are. Meir Kahane observed as them self hating Jews. Addition; mendacity that AIPAC supposedly has 'too plenty power' whilst in fact they have very nearly none (they'd't even get u.s. to properly known Jerusalem as Israels rightful capital, wow what amazing power they wield...no longer!!!) is antisemitism disguised as some thing else. And it has no longer something to do with loose speech because of the fact somebody saying they hate Jews in basic terms for contemporary is likewise loose speech and in u.s. there is not any regulation against it considering is loose speech even though it continues to be antisemitic mutually as nonetheless being loose speech. And Jews are often in basic terms as semitic as everybody else. yet returned the term ANTI-Semite does not propose hatred of all semites in basic terms like homophobe does not propose hatred of all homosapiens.

NO.
If you believe the Jewish people have no right to their homeland, and have no right to defend themselves and that land, then you are not simply anti-Israeli, you are also an anti-Semite.
Being Anti-Israeli is the new and politically correct version of the old Anti-Semitism.

Of coarse you can. I see zionism and the state of Israel as racist and the cause of a lot of the problems with the world today, but my problem is with the philosophies of the political leaders in Israel and the US that maintain this idiocy. I have nothing against people who follow Judaism. It's a matter of being able to seperate the political from the religious.

Yes
Arabs are Semites, too. "Anti-Semitism is a handy catch phrase that Jewish leaders use to blackmail the politically correct into funding Israeli agression.

Of course. Disagreeing with the actions of Israel's government does not mean you hate Jewish people. There are even Jewish groups in America who disagree with what Israel is doing.
