When you read Genesis 1 you see that God created the heavens and the earth. What are the limits placed on evolution according to Genesis 1-2?

......floating on an outer arm band of a galaxy which has billions of other "suns"/"stars" with other tiny planets orbiting around them?
IS that what it's all about? Good Creator and Bad powerful spirit over a tiny blue planet floating among millions in only one of millions of other galaxies with life at this tiny pinpoint of time in the universe duking it out over a certain "special" smart mammal's souls? \
Do you ever think there has to be more to it than some mystical primitive explanations to confusing profound questions of existence in the universe?

My cat got onto my small lap and then my small dog wanted there also-I felt my lap was too small but let my dog get on my lap anyway. I was very surprised to find they both fit and all of us enjoyed it.
So why can't people from different faiths learn to fit together also?
There is plenty of space and caring for all on our little orb.

A new study, led by Dr. George Q. Daley of the Children's Hospital of Boston, uses a procedure known as parthenogenesis in which a series of chemical treatments are used to encourage an unfertilized egg to begin embryonic development.
This scientific research led to the obtaining of some Stem Cells but as usual the developing embryo had to be destroyed.
Is a God's hand also involved in such an embryos growth?
Is it a sin to destroy a growing embryo only if growth is stimulated by artificial insemination with a sperm's chemicals rather than with non spermatic chemicals?

Used to be that the world honored a goddess as the main deity and she was worshipped in many forms. The Jews pushed that there was one god, their god, and this god was male.
Could it also be that, since Eve was the one who accepted the temptation to eat from the tree of knowledge, there is a lesson that women should learn to stay in their place not do what Eve did? The results, according to the myth, were catastrophic.

You say you do not believe in God, So why try to convince others not to believe? Im sure that some ofyou will show their immaturity by answering with a rude or obnoxious answer, because they lack mentality or vocabulary, or say I am whining, but it is a good objective question, asked respectfully, I actually want to hear any good answers you have, but use logic, common sense, rude comments will just show that you have nothing real to say,

I have hope of Heaven, I believe Christ died for my wrongs, I believe that I am loved by a higher power, and do find comfort. I have fellowship with others who share my beliefs, and together we do things to help others as a result of our love for God. What do you offer as an alternative? and why is it better?

Yes, it was not Osama who attacked us but it was OUR own GOVERNMENT, the secret is out and once it goes mainstream people are going to freak out. I know it's hard to believe that our own goverment would do such a thing but look at the facts and the mysteries of 9/11. Do yourself a favor and watch the documentary "9/11 Mystery" that is featured on www.letsroll911.org, hell download it from a peer to peer software if you have to. Get the truth out and give justice back to who it really belongs to. Open your eyes and see the truth, it's right infront of you. Now let's stand up for our rights and protect ourselves from further harm, no more innocent lives taken by our U.S. government. Let's get our troops home and fix our problem now before it's too late. I'm telling you the truth, if you don't believe me...watch and see.

Are you nicer, meaner or about the same on this site as you are off line? Does having to type your answers or questions make you stop and think about what you say, or do you use the annonymusity of this site to say harsh things you wouldn't say off line? Or does this not affect your behavior?

As for me, I think I'm nicer on line. Typing makes me think and even at my worst, I've already toned down what I was going to say. I have not failsafes off line and will often say what comes to mind.

Isaiah in regards to our Messiah the servant candle to light all others-said "Unto us a child is born a SON is given, and he will be the wonderful counselor, the almighty God, and also the prince of peace." Isaiah 9:6

Isaiah 700bce before our temple where our lamp was lit and we had our blood sacrifice for sins was destroyed, leaving us with either no light and no way to forgive sins and having to make up a new religion, or accept the truth that Messiah hath come.

"He will be exalted, but first marred more than any man. He will be the arm of the Lord revealed. He will be despised and rejected. All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all. He will lay down his life to make an atonement for sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich. He will see his seed and prosper.

are you a light in Messiah? or do you despise and reject him the light of the world-to my Jewish people and all the world!

do you know

Note a controversy over religious symbols in a hospital chapel: A group of conservative Christians, led by a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, want to take the symbols out of a hospital chapel, not being willing to share sacred space with representations of the Jewish and Muslim faiths.
The chaplain of the hospital - a Catholic nun - asked Richard Sklba, Bishop of the Milwaukee Archdiocese, for his thoughts on the matter. His response:"My preferred solution would be to retain the current three symbols, and to invite those who pray to do so in their own fashion."
The Missouri Synod folks wouldn't buy this since they feel that anyone who cannot affirm the divinity of Jesus must worship a different God than theirs.
Are not Judaism, Christianity and Islam united in the worship of One God and, as monotheistic traditions?
Didn't the Prophet Isaiah affirm repeatedly throughout his writings that there can be only One God?
So now, whoes religion has the right stuff?

Okay, I have been a member of one church for over 10 years. I feel like I am supposed to find a new church home. The church is really big, so big that when I needed to talk with someone, no one ever calls me back or emails me back. I have stopped going consistently and no one ever called to find out why even though I was very active in the church at one point. I want to go to a church that not only teaches, but makes the members feel like they are important.
The biggest problem is the fact that my husband doesn't want to go to a new church. Although he gets the same feeling that we are not even missed, he feels committed to this church. I had visited another church by myself and loved it. He has never went with me. What should I do?
