If we (the human race) hadn't sinned, we would still have been walking round naked now. Unfortunately, sin has given us a viewpoint that gives us a sense of embarassment about our nakedness.

Many people enjoy and benefit from nakedness, in their own homes and at resorts dedicated to naturism. Unfortunately, I think most people have an opposite view and would find life without clothes difficult.

When sin entered the world of mankind, the first thing God did for us was to make us clothes of a suitably modest nature. Thereafter, incidents and laws recorded in the Bible indicate God's disaproval of general open nakedness. At the moment, nakedness is to be considered (from the Bible's point of view) as immodest, even shameful.

However, God has promised that a new Earth will be created (not the physical planet which will remain indefinitely in it's place, but a new society of God-fearing people) and in that new Earth, sin will be gradually completely removed and our relationship with God will eventually be fully restored. At that time, we cannot imagine what it will be like.

If we no longer have any sin, it might be that we will no longer have any appreciation of nakedness, and things may be fully restored to what they were like when Adam and Eve were living in Eden. We may well have universal nakedness restored. However, it might be that God had intened us to wear clothes eventually anyway, or that, given the fact that we had been sinful, clothes will always be worn by us in public.

I like the idea that we will all eventually be naked and not realise it. That would be wonderful. However, we have to wait and see what God has in store for us.

Have you ever gone to a walmart in the south, I do not want to see naked fat rednecks... God knew this would happen, so he add the whole clause in the Garden of Eden thing, tree of knowledge, he did not want us to have to suffer that. So now we have clothes, thank you God, think about how bad some people look in clothes, ahh you see where I am going, besides I do not want the whole world to know about my pimple problem down there... j/k, no not really, hahahahahah, I am just kidding though, well maybe, know any good acne cream?

It would be nice in some ways, but from a practical standpoint, I don't think it would be desirable considering all of the environmental factors such as the ultraviolet radiation, extreme heat and cold, and the wind, to name a few. Clothing can help protect us against these things.

Yes.The natural body is not obscene. When we adorn ourselfs we make it the unknown and in doing so we make the body obscene.
I've been a nudist for more than 40 years and the trips to the park are the most relaxing time of the week.

Wait a minute. i think you have your facts wrong

in the society of adam and eve, and their innocent nakedness, there were no thorns and briars and evil insects or harsh climates and seasons that change.

Nakedness needs protection from the environment. I have tried to live in a nakedness and I found it completely unnacceptable.
have you ever tried to cook food while in the NUDE. fire burns so does splattering drops of oil.
in the wild environment insects will intrude themselves and make life unclean.

No!
a naked society needs a sheltered environment and since there is no such thing on this panet, your question is decapitated at the head.

Not necessarily, I enjoy seeing the breasts of a 20-25 yr. old woman who partakes in a moderate amount of daily exercise, I don't enjoy the naked figure of an 85 yr. old woman. I guess with everything there's an up side and a downside.

Ha. people have been adorning themselves for...well, since people.

And just think of the crowding in temperate climates.

Or we'd have to build dome cities to keep everyone comfy.
