According to Genesis, God created Adam and Eve. So that would put a rather strict limit on human evolution.

Genesis can be used to describe the big bang and evolution in loose terms if you don't read it literally. No technical details are provided. Genesis 1-2 only discuss cosmology.

The Bible says God "spoke" everything into existence.
Did you know that science has recently come up with a theory that agrees with this? In quantum mechanics, they have come up with the "String Theory" to explain what makes up everything. There are these vibrating "strings" of energy, and how they are arranged, comprise all of matter. Sound being vibrating energy... what do you conclude?
Science has always been man's way of trying to comprehend God's creation. They have not always been right... world being flat, or the center of the universe, evolution theory, etc. Perhaps in this case they are right!

There are many things that have evolved over thousands of years that GOD created. But people are not one of them. The earth has changed it's topology for many different reasons scientific, as well as animals and plant life. That's fine. But I as a christian don't understand why it seems so hard for people to realize that you are not a plant or an animal! It's crazy that people keep trying to compare themselves to how everything else progressed or digressed through time, but want to keep putting themselves on the level of a dumb caveman, a dinosaur, or a monkey. That's just nonsense. Humans were not stupid since the beginning of Adam & Eve.
Humans have certainly learned to adpat to their environment over the ages. But human beings were not dumb 1000's of years ago just because they didn't yet discover electricity, or penicilin, or oil/gasoline, or a lot of other things. Yes I do believe that many things have evolved, and that the bible does spell out the existence of man and beast through Genesis and other parts of the bible.
But the problem is that modern day man usually refuses to believe otherwise because you have been "constantly" bombarded with nothing but a scientific explanation of why things exist, rather than a biblical explanation, since the invention of the television! And since the media "never" wants to show the public the "biblical" answer of how things got to where they are, you will more than likely only believe what you've been told on tv, and in school. Because you've never been given the other side of the story equally.
I think the main thing to consider is why do people feel that GOD's word has to prove to someone that it's correct compared to your scientific explanation? There are plenty of things that science has been proven wrong about over time. And there are still things that man has yet to discover scientifically. Why for the life of me I can't understand why people put "all of their trust" in the continually adpative and learning process of man's knowledge, compared to GOD's knowledge. Why even ackowledge the Bible or GOD as being true if people believe more of man's word as GOD?

No, the Bible just states the fact of creation. It does not give the "how" details for a debate.
No one has been able to prove it wrong-all that anyone has been able to do is declare that they do not believe it, and offer an alternate possibility (supposed). But that is no proof against it. The big word in evolution is "if". Actually its really worse than that-it is: "If" plus "if", in that order, 'then" this is a possiblity. That is as good as it gets.

The Bible does not build a case against a non existant thing. If evolution was there how come we still have apes all around us? How have they eveolved over the years gone by? Does someone out there have the evidence

Genesis is not against evolution, and true knowledge concerning evolution is not against the Genesis. Quarrels only occur among people who falsely claim to be all-knowing.

Genesis can say what it wants-it is still of no relevance or interest to science. I should point out that evolution is a proven fact (only the mechanisms are theoretical) and facts don't change no matter what any religious text might say.

Absolutely! Right at the very first. IT says, " In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." So essentially all you have to know it that God created everything. The tadpole, the monkey, man, woman...etc.....It's simple
