My cat got onto my small lap and then my small dog wanted there also-I felt my lap was too small but let my dog get on my lap anyway. I was very surprised to find they both fit and all of us enjoyed it.
So why can't people from different faiths learn to fit together also?
There is plenty of space and caring for all on our little orb.

To an extent, you're right, I think more people of the same general faith groups can get along with each other than they realize. Of course this means a "watering down" of sermons in the Protestant faith groups, for instance, but I've had plenty of experience with people asking specific questions and it's really not that hard to put your own biases aside, realize others are different from you, and point them in the direction they need to go to get those answers, even if they don't agree with your own beliefs.

I've purposely attended a church that's not my own denomination for that reason. I don't bite, nor do I try to chase everyone out of the church. Neither do they try to convert me. We have our dialogue with each other, but it's a learning experience where I look for challenges to my faith. It's actually fun, and I think more people should try it.

Here's my observation on the situation: Organized religion is more simple-minded then both a cat and small dog combined.

would be nice to have this situation but until everyone can respect the free will and rights of others without trying to force their ways on another this will sad to say probably never happen

People, sadly, don't work this way. Wouldn't it be nice if we did?
