The Holy land and God's chosen nation restored?
Some Christians say Its where Jesus will return, and God will fulfil his promises to this nation, others disagree. What do you believe?

my religion doesnt say anything about it,,,,, i personally think Israel has a track record of being an honorable country,,, while no country is without faults,,,,, theirs is not ranked low,, they seem to treat their citizens well,,,, which is a major factor to consider in ranking any country,,,,,,, as to their policies towards other groups/countries, i dont see alot of unprovoked violence,,,,

It is the Holy Land and God's chosen nation restored. Look at how miraculously they have survived against arab agression since 1946. Surely God had gathered them again to fulfill His purpose.
Isa 66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
Isa 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
This scripture was fulfilled when Israel became a nation once again. There was no Israel from AD 70 up 1946 and for them to be a nation was a miracle in itself.
Psa 137:5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
God will never forget his people Israel
Psa 137:6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

Modern israel is a great nation, surving with strength in midst of hostile nations. Even if Jesus returns, he would have a different body. He may be already there. If he says he is Jesus, Christians would be the first one to run a crusade against him. That's true with all religions. Enlightened soul do not need recognization by its previous name. He gets new recognization by his love and compassion.

"Modern Israel" was created by the British when they removed their troops from the Palestine Mandate in 1947. Ever since then, the region has been involved in conflict.
My religion, Heathenry, is a tribal folk faith, as such, we respect the rights of all other tribal folk faiths to seek their cultural identity.
Otherwise, I believe Jesus was a man, a political reformer acting against both Roman occupation and the organized religion of his day. I do not think he was the sole son of god. I think that all humans, regardless of religion, were created in the image of the divine.

whether we like it or not Israel is chosen of God. however what we call Israel today is the southern kingdom i.e Judah. Jerusalem is their eternal capital and will be restored at the coming of Jesus Christ. when He returns Israel will be completely restored. Its the bible truth

You cannot Be both a christian and a jew since christians are anti-jew and jews are anti-christ.
The jews were looking for a savior from rome. Jesus sided with rome.

modern israel, in the worldly sense, is a filthyl garbage bag of children who were born by leaders and leaders and leaders who were called children of the devil and murderers if you go back to abraham and his sons.
Only two sons of abraham were not complicit in the conspiracy to murder joseph.
if you talk about spiritual ISRAEL, then i think you have a chosen people who make and KEEP the covenants of righteousness in faith to God. but even these spiritual "israelites" dont know what the hell they are making covenants with and for what reasons.
i myself made covenants and my entire life became evil even though I walked around proclaiming the gospel and practicing works of righteousness. Though my life was sincere and though i lived as perfectly as i could, the OTHErs in spiritual Israel, likewise excommunicated me and stopped all freindships.
It made me never want to be numbered with "THEM" again.
If i stand, i stand alone, if people want to follow, let them follow in better righteousness than. And let God exalt them with better crowns of righteousness.

I believe that Jerusalem is the hub of God's chosen people, and when Jesus comes back, it will indeed be there that His feet touch ground.
