Is it like that all over, or just on this site or what. I see so many questions of atheist attacking Christians (and vice versa) and though I think neither has the right to do that, I wonder why it is that Christians are attacked the most.

Is it because Christians push there religion on others, because Islamic seem to do that a lot. Is it because many Christians are on this site. Do you think that atheist where other religions are predominate, such as Islam or Hindu. attack those groups.

I do not think that any group should attack the other, but since I know why the Christians and other religions do it, I would like the other story.

Why do atheist want to change people who are religion. Although I do not like it when religious people try to convert other people, I see why. They believe that they have a religious duty to do it. Why, however, do atheist are about rather or not someone believe in god/religion. Is it defensive? What is there to gain?

I hear so many people who belive in god, have problems with Satinist and Pegans? I'm athiest so I really don't care about any religion at all except people disrespecting my girlfriend and my ex for there religion. I want to know why, Satinist and pegans worship nature not Satin.

One year my daughter complained I always forgot to buy her deodorants when I shop so at Christmas time she got 10 bottles of deodorants and each one was wrapped seperately. She never complained again.
What did you get or gave that was unusual or funny?
And did you receive anything to do with God in a good way?

God Bless you all!

they both use different names to disguise their true identity (Santa, St. Nick, Kris Kringle ect..... God, Allah, Bhudda...ect
they both seem to be all knowing (he sees you when your sleeping he knows when your awake)
They have the same reward/punishment scheme if your good you get presents and go to heaven
if you are bad you get coal and go to hell, you then use your coal to stoke the fire a little more. what do think??

Many of the 'rules' apply to those days and are irrelevant now. Like "Go forth and multiply" when the world was underpopulated and disease was common. Or eating halal meat, which was because meat containing blood would decompose quickly in the hot Arabian climate. There are countless such examples in Christianity, Islam, Judaism and many other religions. People need to integrate science and religion (or better, science and spirituality) and quit being blind followers!

I was wondering if you could please clarify something for me about your beliefs? Part of the reason you do not celebrate Christmas is because it is a pagan holiday, right?

But, if the Christians made it their own, and decided to honor God with it, wouldn't it be a victory over false religion, rather than an insult to God?

Thanks for your help!

I was having a discussion with my friend and she was saying that suicide is an unforgivable sin (in Christianity) and i said well what about murder? i know this seems like a kind of dark topic but i was wondering what was worse... suicide or murder (in Christianity) and is suicide and unforgivable sin... as in does it send you straight to hell? We are both taking a religion class and the teacher told us to research it or ask other people to see what their opinion was. So if you could help it would be great!

with christmas coming up I was hoping someone could clarify something:
Okay, so god wanted a son why did he want a human son? Why wouldn't he just make an entity such as himself to hang out with him? And why would he choose to sleep with mary when she was already married and was a human? That messed up to joseph I think. Couldn't he just have a son appear like he made adam and eve. My english is not good but I hope that make understand. thanks. ciao.

It seems this way from both relgious and Athest people. I see so many people call themselves Agnostic, when they are clearly athiest. Agnostic just means that you dont know/dont belive that god can be proven. This does not mean that you can not beleive in god. I do not think think that god can be proven, but I am by no means an Athiest. For exsample, people say that Susan B. Anthorny was an athiest. btu that is not true. She was an Agnostic.

It seems like many Athiest think that Athiems is a religioin. Athism is the belife that god does not exist. Because of this, why do many people seem to act like it is a religioin.

I hope ervyone knows i have nothing aginst Atheist, so please dont take this as slander.

What scientific evidence do you have to back up that claim? The bible is NOT scientific evidence. Please convince me with proof.
