No but the mind is the devils playground. If by supernatural movies you mean stuff about ghosts, goblins, and ghouls you set your mind up to receive images and words that are ungodly and spiritually wicked when you watch those movies. Later the devil can use those images to make you afraid of things that shouldn't scare you at all. If you mean movies like those about psychics, witches, and sorcerers you also set yourself up to be filled with rhetoric that the devil could use to some how taint your faith in God. Wild imaginations may fill your head and make you believe something that isn't true about spiritual things. Unless you have an intense relationship with God and are a bible believing bible studying God fearing follower of Christ I wouldn't recommend you watch such things. One who follows Christ might not be of this word but we are still in it in these flesh bodies. We are still subject to weakness and pain and that includes our minds. Unless we put on the whole armor of God we will never be able to stand the temptations the devil hurls at us. Watching supernatural movies tempt us to think out of a godly character and the bible says that whatsoever a man thinks in his heart, that he is also.

Of course! As Chiky said if you are looking for the devil anywhere you will find him. In the early 90's every church here (El Salvador) went on a crazy witch hunt: everything was satanic! even cartoons! It was so farfeched that I'll give you an example: The Chicago Bulls logo is satanic because if you tur it upside down you'll se a satan worshiper reading the black bible in a satanic mass. Thats simply paranoia. To be honest, try looking for other things like world peace, end of diseases or something more usefull to humankind. You'll have a better time and no remorse afterwards!!!!!!

The devil at best is a childish little prankster who's Daddy is mad
at him for being a brat. You are a child of the universe made in
the image of God with the power to send a pipsqueak like Satan
packing any time you choose

I think it's a bad idea. It's amazing how many movies, shows, books, and video games are now based on the occult or demons. A person may see no harm in it, but exactly how is it entertaining and what is the purpose of it. Many places in the Bible condemn spiritism or witchcraft and Jesus himself expelled demons so why would we want anything to do with them?

One thing you must understand about TV. It's fantasy, There's been alot of talk about those shows that feature Witchcraft. I've never seen it portrayed accurately on TV. NEVER. I've been a witch for 8 years. Same with movies. I can't think of a movie that looked at real witchcraft and not fantasy.

I think the devil has his hands full trying to convert actually righteous people, not the self-righteous like those who constantly think they're important enough to even merit a glance to the Prince of Darkness.

it's not the act, it's the INTENT that matters.
I don't think just watching a certain TV program could bring evil spirits into your life unless you welcomed their influence.
superstition is a pasttime for people too lazy to take responsibility for their own actions and self-growth.

I couldn't see the link, but I've read or heard quite a few such testimonies. Even a friend of a friend was involved in occult activities without being aware of what he was actually doing. Now, fortunately for him, he is a Christian, but, as he was saying, for one who converts, there are tens of thousands who remain in error.

If it is a nonchristian supernatural program, then yes it opens up doors to the demonic. There were girls who were just playing that jumanji board just to have "fun" and one of them starting levatating. Not good to mess around with darkness.
