Why would God give Satan "permission" to do that?...which he did....God basically said do what you want to Job....but just don't kill him.

It was God that first mentioned Job....Satan did not bring him up...it was as though God "offered" Job to Satan.....but why?

Considering Jesus taught against the teachings of the Eternal Covenant, I personally can only view him as a tool of the Accuser and Adversary. When the teachers saw him casting out demons, he famously commented, "A house divided cannot stand." However, a house working in unison for deceptive goals can. If Satan had those people held by demons just so he could say, "Go home boys," it would look like he was 'casting them out' but in fact it would have been a pre-arranged scenario for the purpose of leading people away from the one who is divine.

In short, my view is that Jesus's miracles were empowered by the 'holy spirit' which is Satan.

Your thoughts?

[Heh, wonder how long it'll take this to get a violation. Ah well, every truth is hated by the people it proves wrong...]

,and He was just another nice guy?
What if it's true?
They say the cross will only make a fool of you.
What if He takes His place in history with all the prophets and the kings, who taught us love and came in peace, but then the story ends; what then?
But what if you're wrong?
What if there's more?
What if there's hope you've never dreamed of hoping for?
What if you jump, just close your eyes?
What if the arms that catch you, catch you be surpsrise?
What if it's more than enough?
What if it's love?

I'm far from brainwashed. I was brought up in the church but I made the decision for myself to develop a relationship with God. I don't insult Atheists or Muslims or any other group of people so why do SOME people feel it's necessary to insult Christians? Be what you want to be.

We are born into guilt(sin) and we truthfuly follow sin nature, is this, Innocent or guilt? If we are true to our nature we can not be held accountable for our sin. Jesus was born and died for our sin nature that we may know freedom from sin. Jesus paid in full with his flesh the price. so why do we still live under the rule of an unsaved mind.

Do you want an opportunity to judge a pastor for being greedy?
I hear so much on here about pastors being greedy & money hungry. Now that may be true for some, but here is an opportunity for you to look at a real pastor & judge.

1. I am 32, married, with 3 kids
2. We have a house that costs us $930 a month (incl. esgrow)
3. We have 2 cars, a 93 Mercury Villager (150,000miles) & a 95 Honda Accord (170,000 miles)
4. Our tv is 15+ years old & is a 32"
5.We have cable internet & one phone line.
6. We have no credit card debt
7. We get $90 a week to spend on groceries, $50 a week for gas/maintainance for our cars.
8. We have clock radios & 2 $30 boom boxes
9. Our computer cost us $400 new.
10. We could be making more money. I was making much more when I worked in a coorporation.
11. Oh, and we give $100 a week to both our church, and to others.
12. Last, we are very happy...we have definately been blessed!
13. Our church is large.
14. Giving =/= salvation at our church.

It must be hard for the Israeli people subjected to bomb attacks by fanatical muslim Palestinians. If the Palestinian people were to work in peace and harmony with the Jewish state, the lives of so many in the area would be so much better.

Instead fanatical ragheads blow themselves up as `martyr's' to a delusionary cause. What a sorry religion Islam is to allow people to kill the innocent. Then moan when Israel respond to the slaughter of its citizens by hitting back hard.

The world would be a better place without the Palestinians.

I have family members who are christians and because I have a different faith they are have a huge issue with pushing their own beliefs on me. Some have gone so far to cut me out of their lives disowned me.
Is this something that is considered christian behaviour? If so then I am happy being a wiccan where I am following the treat others rule of thumb.

The Bible says rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. I've done that over and over again. I want to be happy for myself. Is that selfish?

Some have said that Hell is a place that exists without God. A place of eternal separation from Him. While others have stated that it is a place of eternal torment and fire.
