We are born into guilt(sin) and we truthfuly follow sin nature, is this, Innocent or guilt? If we are true to our nature we can not be held accountable for our sin. Jesus was born and died for our sin nature that we may know freedom from sin. Jesus paid in full with his flesh the price. so why do we still live under the rule of an unsaved mind.

Well... true and false....

being "true to one's nature" or, as people would say "true to one's self" does not release us from accountability before God....

and, yes, I believe you are right that believers no longer have to live under the "rule of an unsaved mind".

god bless

Intriguining question, now bare with me. I personally don't believe in the "original sin" nonsense the Catholics have made up. If sex is a sin, then why does God get angry when one gentleman in the bible was having sex, and he didn't want a child, so he pulled out and let his seed go into the earth, this angered Him, (it's one of the first chapters of the bible) and that dude was punished. Adam & Eve should have listened - absolutely, but it also says in the bible, the inquities of our fathers shall not be held accountable by the children. But do u really think when God put that tree of knowledge there, that they would NOT partake of it, I doubt it. It's like putting cookies in front of a child and saying don't touch. When we are babies (which if you think about it , Adam & Eve sort of were, they were just created in adult form)we don't know what is right & wrong, but our parents teach us! We learn as we go, it is once we know what sin is & continue to commit them the sin is a conscious decision to defy God. We always have had the choice, to believe, to follow, to learn, to do good, to be good, or not to. The wisdom of the wise cannot be wasted on those who will not listen (sinners), they have their own version of what is right, which is themselves. Ironically the exact opposite of what Jesus represents, selfless-ness. God I love God!

False - we are held accountable for our sins which come from our nature.
Romans 9:19 You will say to me then, "Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?" 20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, "Why did you make me like this," will it? 21 Or does not the potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use? 22 What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction? 23 And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,"

it's a deep thought ... i believe the one refered to as god is omnipotent.. think about that for a moment.............why would an omnipotent being care one way or another wether i am married to a man or woman .. why would this being care wether or not i swear.. why would this being care if i married or not.. the bible was written by men in the 1100's with the text in question being translated by a small group of human beings a thousand years after the fact.. there must be some margin for error.. i also believe for man kind to finally just get along we must strictly follow the ten commandments..read them..know them.. accept them .....think about it those are the only words in the whole bible that came directly from god...all the rest is surmised.

Let me rephrase to make sure I understand your question: Jesus has died for us, so we are all automatically saved and don't need to worry about what kind of lives we live or what our thoughts and deeds are?

If I am understanding you right, I'd say False. That is not the gospel that Jesus taught.

We are not born in sin. For one thing, there is no sin. Sin, hell, and satan are man made terms.

No on needs "salvation". Most souls cross over.

It must be really sad to live a life in fear of an imaginary place called hell. It is that fear that enables others to control you.

That echoes the poignant question of the Jewish scholar Geza Vermes:

"If Jesus is the Messiah, where is the messianic age?"
