Yes , but God tells us to love our enemies.Ask God for help in this matter if you are feeling this way...to help you love them anyways.

Of course. We would not be human if we liked everyone we met. That would be a lie. However, I can look at them as children of God and realize that we are all works in progress and perhaps the person I dislike is a little behind me on the doneness scale. I do not have to like everything they do but I do have to give the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps they had a crappy day and I just caught them at a bad time. Perhaps they are simply misinformed and have ill feelings about me. I will treat anyone with respect...however, where it goes from there is up to that individual.

Yes, there have been many times in my life that this has happened. Sometimes it actually made me more mad because the person didn't care. When I took notice about how I was feeling, I realized that I was the one in the wrong about it. Now, I just pray about it and try to handle my dislike by being peaceful and civil even when I can't stand something.

yes, there was a co-worker who aggravated me, and all she had to do was start talking! She cursed and spoke loudly about her sex life in front of everyone. She gossiped and started rumors, too. Oh, and boy would she tell a lie in a heartbeat--like she did something wrong, but blamed you for it! I prayed about it and for her, then i read in the bible where it said to take that person aside and speak privately to them, so i did. turns out she acted that way because she thought it made her popular. she even went to other co workers for their true feelings toward her and almost everyone felt the same way. she began to calm down, and we're best friends now.

I stayed away from them so I wouldn't do or say anything I would regret and I prayed for them. Every night I pray for people I don't like because I feel I have to as a Christian.

Lots of times! There is no rule that you have to like everyone, or that they have to like us, but we often have to interact and deal with people we don't like for whatever reason. I try to treat them with respect - the same way I want them to treat me - even if they don't respond the same way (and in that case they are the one's that look like fools).
However, if it's someone who I absolutely detest, I just try to avoid having to interact with them without making it a big deal out of it.

Yes. But later God reminded me that the person was created, and was also Gods child. So I disliked what they did (the action) and not the person. Christians are to love the person, and hate the sin.

If there was a time that i didn't like someone(which there has many times) i would still love them but i would talk to that person about why i was disliking them and hopefully we could resolve it.

This morning when all of my answers to or about "Slave to JC" ended up as violations in my in box, but I'm over it.
Did you know he is a famous biologist at an undisclosed location and biology backs up the claim of creationism?
