A new question to those christians who answered they would not
Would you accept someone who is sinning another sin into your church? I don't believe homosexuality is a sin but assuming you do why do you pick out that sin as an exclusion? Are you prepared to exclude those who steal or cheat on their taxes or have heterosexual affairs outside their marriage. Why is homosexuality the sin you choose to have different rules about?

GENESIS 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

GENESIS 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

GENESIS 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

I would preferably want christians to answer this, but here it goes. When Jesus comes to take his believers to heaven with him and leaves everyone else here, what happens to all the other beliefs like buddhists, catholics, mormons and everyone else that have a strong belif in their religion, but don't take Jesus as their savior

We are the first to admit were not perfect..that's why we believe in what christ did for us at the cross...paid for our sins....were all accountable for the choices we make in life...once you have given your life to Christ you just try to make the right choices

According to it, a universe endures for about 4,320,000,000 years. A universe, because there were many universes that were destroyed, will be many more after this.

I certainly know that now, if I was asleep or in an operation, and someone altered my genitals in any way, I would do them for sexual harassment...

Ok, reasons I believe that (infant) circumcision is wrong:
1. the baby has NO say it what is happening to them. With a consenting adult, I think it is ok.

2. it is not necessary. In some cases it may stop build up of bacteria, but it also can CAUSE infections. It is an unnecessary operation. For example, perhaps we could also justify removing every newborns appendix? They can cause problems after all, and do not help in any way. Operations, big or small, should only be done if they are NEEDED, which circumcision is not.

3. It is a removal of skin from the PENIS. Though this may seem like a small detail, to me it is huge. I don't believe that anyone has the right to mess with anyone elses genitals without their consent, even more so than other parts of the body. If I knew that my parents had asked for this procedure to be done on me,

When I was pregnant I did not go around like they do today showing every little detail about my pregnancy. I think you all look ugly, and that is how I feel about that one. It is wonderful to be pregnant and to have a baby, but this is so stupid. Their are alot of people that feel the same as I do. Most men that I have talked to think it is un-attractive to show your belly.

What if we removed all of the attempts at explaining natural phenomena, as well as the intolerence, cruelty and violence from the Bible and left it simply as a collection of philosophies by which to live a peaceful life? I'd be willing to get behind a book like that.

Thomas Jefferson did something similar in his day. He removed all of the supernaturality from his Bible and created a book of what was applicable to his time.

Isn't it time for a new edition? So much of the Bible is totally ignored or even completely inacurate or irrelivant to us in our modern age... Why not other holy books as well?
