No, but there has been a worldwide conspiracy to hide the truth of the Bible for about 1700 years...

You do realize that scientists ATTEMPT to disprove their own theories every single day, right? That's how we learn.

If religions would police themselves this way, they wouldn't be so laughable to the rest of us...

No, Most scientists are religious. The problem with the Creationism crowd is they don't look at the science, and they don't understand how it works. A scientists may theorize on something based on observable fact, and then it is up to the rest of the scientists in that field to prove or disprove as the case may be, that theory. A good example is Creationism. Scientists are treating it like a theory, and so far, every part of the theory has been disproved. Does this mean that scientists are out to get the bible? no, but they are out to find out the truth about how we got here. let's not wait 800 years like the Catholic church did with Galileo, to prove or disprove evolution, let's instead, work towards a common understanding of our origins.

Are you kidding? I am not sure about worldwide conspiracy, but anyone NOT wanting the bible to be true, that happens to be a scientist has often worked VERY hard to disprove it. That is as old as the hills! Good science way too often points to what the bible says as true. Sucks for those scientists that try so hard. It has to be very very frustrating.

No. The Scientific Community is helping biblical Scholars who believe that the Bible is not a science book. It is the religious history which contains many different styles of writing, to help the believer discover the development of human's relationship with God. The Truth of the Bible is God's love for us. It does not tell us how the world was created or how long it will last.
The scientific community is a threat only to those who take the Bible literally.

There are no scientific facts to disprove Creation. Just because you don't understand it doesnt make it a lie. There are far more gaps in the evolution THEORY than in creation. Science has it's place. Claiming every little birth defect or fossil find as proof for evolution isn't it. It's obvious that most scientist are anti creation and would love to prove it wrong. They just wont ever be able to without making up thier "facts", which they do all the time yet people still don't question it. They don't mind being douped as long as they can justify thier non belief in God. Christians are "out to get them" we just dont buy thier ramblings about life billions and billions of years ago and fish growing legs because they want to live on land. It takes more "faith" to believe in evolution because the "facts" dont exist.

No, but I suspect there is a world-wide conspiracy within the religious community to disprove Science.

Its hardly a conspiracy given that not even believes it. Anyway, plenty of scientists are also religion, i don't feel the existance of science is a reason to disprove god (i'm atheist by the way). You could say that god (if there is one) created science for mankind to learn.

no. it is not necessary to disprove a myth, especially one so full of errors and contradictions.

they wouldn't sit around and try to disprove Harry Potter or Peter Pan, either. the bible is mythical cult nonsense. nothing more. nothing to disprove. science and facts about the natural world and our universe are what they are -- they alone disprove that myth and many others.

the bible/christianity is rejected by over 70% of the people on earth. that isn't a conspiracy. that is simply intelligence.

I don't know about a worldwide conspiracy but there are many who teach that evolution is a "fact" instead of a theory who do so because they reject God as creator and want others to believe that also.

Why would the scientific community waste it's time disproving Pagan stories from thousands of years ago? It doesn't make any sense.
