When I was pregnant I did not go around like they do today showing every little detail about my pregnancy. I think you all look ugly, and that is how I feel about that one. It is wonderful to be pregnant and to have a baby, but this is so stupid. Their are alot of people that feel the same as I do. Most men that I have talked to think it is un-attractive to show your belly.

Hi, this is a good question. It makes sense that thinner women show first because even a bit of a bump is noticeable! For thicker women, they might show but it only just pushing the belly they already had! I started showing around 4-5 months. I would say really thin or petite women can start showing around 3-4 months. I suggest if you want to look def. pregnant then start wearing maternity tops, then people won't be wondering if you are just gaining weight or you are preggo! Good luck!

I think that it's unattractive in general to flaunt stomachs, especially the overweight. I'm sorry but it's true, they have clothing that is designed to cover that up. I think that pregnant women are beautiful but I do agree that they should cover their stomachs up, just out of respect for their unborn child. When I was pregnant I wore maternity clothes that fully covered it, but my boyfriend did enjoy my pregnant belly... he rubbed lotion on it every night... something like that is better shared between a man and a woman (or a woman and a woman-whatever you're into) it should be kept intimate... not for the whole world to see.

I don't find anything about pregnant women unattractive--except perhaps the moodiness that comes as a natural result of hauling extra weight around for months on end. And some of the food combinations they crave. Caviar and peanut butter on a bagel?!

What do you mean show your belly? Like lift your shirt and show or just wear tight non 1800's maternity clothes? I think that a perfectly round pregnant bump is adorable.

In some cultures women believe having the sun hit their pregnant bellied skin is good for the baby.

I don't really care either way, skinny girl, chubby girl, pregnant girl...I never minded the shap of any belly, but I prefer not to be shown the skin of it.

thanks

What's wrong with it? Pregnant bellies look nice. There are a lot of people out there who are worse to look at then a pregnant woman.

Get over yourself.

I was told I could not have babies. We tried for nearly 12 years. So when we got our miracle, I was very proud of my belly! I never felt better about myself then I did while pregnant. Plus, I had no stretch marks, so I was VERY proud of my belly!

I wanted everyone to see how proud of my belly I was. I earned it!!! It's just like TV or radio. If you don't like it, don't look!

So you say its wonderful to be pregnant but this condition should be hidden? Have you always been so shallow, or is this something that has developed with age? Get over your view of what is or isn't attractive or continue suffering. Your choice, as it is theirs.

I wouldn't wear a belly-baring shirt when I was pregnant, but I don't get all bent out of shape when I see someone else do it, either.

Why get upset about it? It's not hurting you. Maybe it makes them happy. It's not worth getting irate over.
