You are seriously looking for answers to the origin of mankind and other animals, from a book written over 2000 years ago, before ANY of the modern sciences were invented? You are starting in the wrong place. You are deluding yourself. If this really represents your approach to enquiry, I would hope you are not in a position of authority. Have a nice day.

Man was the crowning achievement of the creation, so He was created last. The Genesis text states this plainly.
We are not the same as the beasts or animals. Notice this verse:
Gen 2:7 And Jehovah God formed the man out of dust from the ground, and blew into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
God gave man the breathe of life and a soul, He didn't do this for any other living creature.
Genesis was written by Moses, along with the other books of the Pentateuch. Moses received this information via direct revelation from God.

The second chapter re-tells some events of the first chapter with more details. God created animals before man, and you can see that in Genesis 1:24 and 1:25. In 2:19 the event is only Adam naming the animals and birds; it should read "had formed".

Not that I like newer translations, but KJV is known to have little translation slips like this here and there. In this case, the order of events (creation of animals, creation of Adam, naming of animals) is the same in all Genesis commentaries I'v ever read (maybe three or four).

When God created Adam He created for him a special environment in "the Garden of Eden". Obviously it included NEWLY created animals.
Adam was created to live indefinitely within his special environment with the help of the tree of life. That’s why he was informed that it would be fatal for him to eat from the “tree of knowledge of good and evil”. Gen. 2:17.
Eve was an afterthought so Adam would not be all by himself. Gen. 2:21,22
Meant to live indefinitely Adam and Eve did NOT NEED to procreate! They had no sense or ambition of sexuality. Gen. 2:25. They were not ashamed – innocent.
God gave them the power of choice, to obey or disobey his instructions.
After eating the forbidden fruit – also known as the “original sin” - they were sexually “activated” (Gen. 3:7-11 & 16) (they were ashamed!) and God had to change His plans for them. So Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden in order to KEEP THEM AWAY from the “tree of life” which could have sustained their life (and that of now possible offsprings) indefinitely - Gen. 3:22-24.
They were now condemned to live their life in the outside world and procreate like the “creatures” (Neanderthals & Co.) created before them. (Gen. 3:16) They now also were destined to die like them.

The beast, but don't believe everything you read, that's why the world is in such a state, because of man's word, if only he had left God's word as it was without the changes to gain power, and control

are you trying to say that man isnt a beast?
just look at the state of the planet
also reflect on the fact that other than domestic animals, every other creature is terrified of us.
makes you think how wonderful we are doesnt it...but then if this life is just a warm up for the big parade, i suppose it doesnt matter what we do here..eh?

This isn't a contradiction. It's a style of writing, or of translation. Make it "... Lord God had formed...", see? BTY, I can trust a book written by Man a lot more than one written by a beast!
