Homosexuality is not a sin. Jesus, the boss of christians was gay and so were more of the twelve male friends he was hanging around with.

If you mean accept as a member the answer would have to be no. However they would be more than welcome at services just as anyone else would be. this would have to include the heterosexual having sex out side of marriage and the others you mention. As you rightly point out they are sins also.
The hope would be that coming to worship might help lead them away from sin. It couldn't hurt anyway.

My pastor actually just mentioned this in a sermon a few weeks ago. My church would happily accept homosexuals. We do believe that it's a sin, but who among us doesn't sin? If we kept out everybody who was sinning, no one would be allowed in. We have had some sticky situations - couples living together out of wedlock, unwed mothers, etc. We just love them and point them to Jesus. He does the changing.

How would the Christian KNOW if the person was a homosexual? Would he/she bring his/her partner along and introduce themselves as such? Not a good idea at first maybe. Let people get used to seeing you together as interested, dedicated, loving Christians FIRST and then maybe brooch the subject if it comes up in conversation or a bible lesson or whatever.
One of the same parts of the OT that says homosexuality is a sin also says that children who are disobedient to their parents should be killed. Why are we not rolling on that one/?????

I missed the original question.
Did some "Christians" say that they would not accept a homosexual in their church?
Another example of what the bible has done to the meaning of God's love.

(Would like to have a link to Revampeds question, but oh well... And no, I did not see or answer his question, FYI.)
Meh... I guess I could accept one into my church. I mean, if I knew the person and liked him/her as a friend, sure I'd like to see him come. If we were on a neutral to negative viewpoint about each other, well if it was negative then I don't know. Negative... Probably not. As for the other sins, if I found someone who was cheating with another person behinf their spouses back, I'd be hard-pressed to want them in my church. Stealing: well, to what extent have they? Cheatinig on their taxes: again, to what extent, but *probably* not.

Well my church accepts homosexualists but that doesn't mean that they believe it not to be a sin. In the bible it is blatantly put that being homosexual is not how God planned it to be so therefore stay away from it. I think its fine to be a homosexual christian as long as you are not practicing as it is not right in Gods eyes. I don't think there is such thing as a church that doesn't think it is wrong to be gay because in the bible it says its wrong.

That's easy. It's the head line of the day. You see, the " Christians" that ban homosexuality are making such and uproar about it to take the spot light off of the fact that they're still protecting pedophile priests. They are aiming the cameras at a different target. Nothing more than that.

I answered that other question... homosexuals are not bared from God's Church... It is the sin of the homosexual act that is the abominaytion to God.... sin must be repented of, regardless of your sexual orientation... befor comeing to God... sin is any act against the word and will of God... goes for homesexuals just the same as it dose for hetrosexuals....

Who are you talking about? There is no sin greater than the next. And no one should turn anyone away for any sin. Any sin is deliverable through Jesus Christ. Whether a thief, murderer, or homosexual, Jesus can heal and deliver all.
