Scientists announced today that they've discovered signs of recent liquid water on Mars.

It's a far cry from declaring life on Mars, past or present, but IF life were to be discovered on Mars, how would it affect people spiritually? Is this concept incompatible with mainstream religions? How might believers explain the presence of extraterrestrial life?

Why do Christians always associate Christmas withthe birth of Jesus, when everything points to him being born in Feb. In truth it was just a way to let Pagan festivities carry on.

The five pointed star in christianity symbolizes the Five wounds of christ?

The Crown of thorns,
The Scourge on his Back,
The Nail in his Hands,
The Nail in his Feet,
And the Spear in his Side.

And that is why The Five pointed star was on the Bible along time ago.

The reason I ask is because me and my family went to a trip to Hopewell Virgina and what happen one night in December was unexplainable. We went down a road towards Shirley plantation and they say if you go there from 12 to 3 am you can see civil war soliders and the past. We did experience road signs that vanished. Yes vanished we went back few times those night and once the road signs were there and in the morning they weren't . Just thought I ask if anyone has had a similar experience. Please state were you are from. Me Texas but originally from California.

1 john 1;7 and the blood of jesus christ his son cleaseth us from al sin. for all have sinned come short of the glory of god and romans 10;13 for whosever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved.
turn to jesus today hell is no party if you die without jesus you spend eternity in hell. mark 9;48 where their worm dieth not and te fire is not quenched mark 9;48
if you want to be saved say this sinners prayer ok.

In a group here, there is a guy, late 40s who is contacting underage girls thru the group. One, I know of 16 yrs. old, in his same city, responded to him and now she believes she may be pg. He of course is trying to break it off and she is protecting him but I know his Yahoo ID. What should I do? He is just going to go after some other young girl.

Can you explain to me why you think creation is an alternative or even superior theory to evolution by answering the following questions:

Why does the Bible contradict itself?

Why are all creationist arguments based on the Bible, an outdated set of theological documents?

What part of the Bible says you cannot accept both evolution and God?

What would you say to counter all the scientific errors found in the theory of creation?

What would you say to the scientific impossibilities of the Flood story?

If carbon-dating is inaccurate as you say, why do you believe your method is more accurate?

Since all of your claims have been debunked by evolutionary scientists or have nothing to do with the subject, why do you continue to put forth said claims?

Why do you say evolution is a religion when it is actually a scientific theory, like gravity?

IF you want creation taught in schools, what about all the children who do not believe in God?

If before, how did you know what you were feeling was god and not gas?

Isn't it odd that the only way to know about god is from other people and not god himself? For example why doesn't the almighty manifest in us like hunger or thirst?

Before you answer, "it does", keep in mind that a totally different god manifests for a different 1/3 of humanity, and no god at all for another 1/3.
