Peanut butter goes well with beer. Pickles are great with shots of Tequila or Vodka, better than lemons.

Pick one of the following:
1. Find a book that has a certain amount of interest, containing useful knowledge, but that isn't really the kind to keep you on the edge of your seat. Sttle back in bed with it, and determine to read at the very least two chapters. (You might be asleep before you finish).
2. Sit in bed with a reading light that you can turn off easily. Memorize something inspiring (I pick a psalm, but I don't know if that appeals to you) perhaps a poem, some famous quote, a piece out of an encycolpedia! The effort of memorization will send you to sleep.
3. Light down with a heating pad under your lumbar region. Start on maximum heat, the slowly reduce it. (Have your light turned off ahead of time this time).
4. A double strength cup of linden tea, with nothing else in it. Half a cup of boiled water with your teabag. If you have a whole cup youll have to get up in the night. (Not linden mixed with mint: mint is a waker upper).

I have a sleep disorder, I 'sleep' with my TV on, because every time I wake up, I look at TV till I go back to sleep.
OR ask your Doctor for Klonapin. it works really good!
