Do you have a favorite artist or album you would recommend? There is no longer a christian music station on the radio near me.

Well, "Christian Music" has a broad range of styles, but I like a lot of different ones.

I like Nichole Nordeman, Natalie Grant, Bethany Dillon, Jaci Velasquez, Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, Third Day Jamie Slocum, Point of Grace, ZoeGirl, Superchic[k], and Barlowgirl, and I like "Call on Jesus" by Nicole C. Mullen. Those are all I can think of off the top of my head. If you're more into Christian Rock, I can't really help you there. The rockiest I listen to is Superchick, but there is certainly rockier music out there.

If you're on the internet a lot, you might want to think about listening to Launchcast radio through Yahoo! or your Yahoo! messenger? They have Christian stations. Also, search for "free Christian radio stations" and you should be able to find a good radio station that suits your needs.

Depends on the type of music you like....but there's great Christian artists from just about every genre of music you can think of. There's a really good Christian radio station that streams live on the net. www.rhemafm.org.au It's from Australia & it's pretty good to listen to especially their breakfast dj, Justin. Hope it helps.

Mostly it depends on the style of music you like in Christian music.

Funky?
There are many different Christian groups- Go to a Christian Book/Music store, they have ear phones, and you can listen to different ones.
good luck.

Mayhem and Burzum are both good Christian bands worth listening to. The "black metal murders" of the early 90s were merely displays of martyrdom.
