No one is denying fossils, but how do you explain the fossils they found on top of Mt. Everest, if they didn't get there by way of the flood? Were they "planted" by satan?

EDIT:
lilith
God made the mountains, for according to Genesis8:4, Noah's ark came to rest upon the mountains of Ararat, which strangely enough, is exactly where they found evidence of Noah's ark! What a coincidence!

I've never heard any excuses for fossils from religion. Speaking as a Christian, I've heard individuals who claim to represent religion say all kinds of whacked-out stuff. None of it is supported by the Bible. The Bible doesn't talk about extinct species. The Bible is supposed to be a road-map for how to live not a guide to archeology.

I've also heard atheists say all kinds of stuff about fossils that couldn't be supported with any scientific evidence.

There are ignorant idiots on both sides of the debate.

fossils need no excuse, for they line up with the Word of God,it is only people that are stupid. There are three world ages and we are in the 2 right know. The first earth age was millions of years ago

"Fossils were created in the flood."

Gah. There are so many excuses out there that have been conjured up by funny preachers and religious folk. Their futile attempts to explain the religion-stomping evidence in nature is quite humorous.

Check your child's science textbook or flip over to the Discovery Channel for a CLEAR understanding of nature.

In response to your favorite excuse, 'god is trying to test people through tricks,' why would a god place the fossils there to confuse us? It seems illogical and greedy to me; does he/she take joy in watching humans confuse and fight over it?

That God is not bound by human time. So, the fossils are part of evolution which ultimately is a part of the creation story. Meaning that the literal 24 hour day does apply to God. God works in His time not ours.

Creation and evolution are thus compatible with the story of Genesis. God command things to evolve, and thus they evolved.

Yeah, I was about to put something about Satan-planted fossiles, but I've also heard about dinosaurs existing a long time ago, then Noah's flood wiped them out, how joyful.

Yeah, the whole "Satan put them there to deceive us" has got to be the best one I've heard. The next would be that dino's were around with man and all the dating science has done is wrong. I wonder where Noah put the T-Rex's?

Tell you what, you find good, solid evidence that radio carbon dating fossils to billions of years is accurate, and that there was NOT a flood. I'll give you some excuses.
