they do

They believe in the power of prayer. A "spell" to a Wiccan is just a prayer, the rites and symbols that go along with it are to help get the supplicant in the right frame of mind to approach God (or the Goddess), much like the chanting a rites of other religions, for example the Catholic Mass. I`m sure some Wiccans take their spells more literally than others, just as people from various religions take tenets of their faiths more or less literally. My grandmother for example was a devout Catholic woman who believed Holy Water could protect her from anything. My mother doesn`t see Holy Water as being the powerful thing that my granny believed in. Hope that explains it a little better.

* No

Wicca, as most other religions, recognizes the existence of a 'First Cause', GOD or that from which all comes.

Wiccans feel that this First Cause is so large and all encompassing that it is difficult for mankind to communicate with it.

We can of communicate with that 'First Cause' through what is commonly known as the 'Gods and Goddesses.' These Goddesses and Gods manifest to us through their works, such as the cycle of the seasons, the miracle of birth, the joy of the first iris of Spring and the message of joy and hope from the rainbow, and through their Presence.

* In essence, Wiccans believe in the great spiritual world as well as in respecting all living things and creatures. They dont do nor believe in the practice of magic nor witchcraft. Their Priests and Priestesses perform rituals not to manipulate a magical world, but to create harmony with the spiritual one.

Yes and no.

We use magick, but it's not what everyone thinks it is. Magick is simply the use of unconvential means to cause change in the physical world. A Wiccan can change hir luck or perhaps gain wisdom through magick, but I've yet to see a Wiccan turn someone into a frog.

*Wiccans
And,in a sense...no.They preform rituals/spells,and many of them work. I think it is more of the work of a higher power.I don't know much about these things and how they work because I have never experienced them first hand.
