what i mean is, it says in the bible that when you marry someone that you become one with them. if Jesus did marry Mary Magdeline, she would be the wife of God the Son/Jesus. if this was proved to be true by the Vatican, would the Catholic faith stop worshipping/honoring Mary, the mother of Jesus and start worshiping Mary Magdeline? P.S. THIS IS ONLY A RETORICAL QUESTION, I KNOW THAT JESUS WAS NEVER MARRIED AND HAD NO KIDS. I'M JUST WONDERING WHAT YOUR VIEW ON IT IS. do you think Christianity would be different?

Could someone furnish me with clarification on how it is that right wing Christians condone and support a "Holy War" or as the Prez has termed it (Crusade) in the killing of thousands of innocent children and women by our troops in Iraq, especially in light of the fact that the 9/11 Commission and various members of the Republican leadership have determined Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11? I am unable to find or discern any passages in the New and Old Testaments of my Good Book, where Jesus would have ordered the murdering of innocent children and women in His Good Name. Is it possible that there is a Christian bible out there that includes chapters where Jesus orders the killing of the innocent in His name? The 1st ed of the KJB included 11 commandments whereby reformed Protestants were to obey thy Monarch, but even they did not accept this edition at it was revised back to Moses' original 10. Many thanks. Please remain objective; fundamentalists need not reply. Thank u.

My Aunt has invited me to dinner. The main course is red beans and rice( which I love!) but the problem is that she cooks pork sausage in the beans. How can I get through the dinner without hurting her feelings. (Canceling is not an option)

My Pasto preached an awesome message on Is it Vain to Serve the Lord. I don't think it's vain at all to serve the Lord at All, I enjoy serving God. I just want to know what everyone else has to say and why they say what they say and to give their own testimonies. I would really appreciate it, THANKS!!!!

I mean every single holiday. Rosh Hasshana, Ramadan, Diwalli, Christmas oh, and the SABBATH. You see, GOD demanded that we rest one day a week. That's religious. So that means we work 7/365 all the time. Paid vacations aren't religious so they are still and employer option. What does everyone thing, especially those opposed to Christmas and Atheists?

We know that atheists do not believe in God but what if the atheists have got it wrong? What if there really is a creator God out there who cares about mankind? If, as the Bible says, we are created in God's image, and God is love, would he care about atheists?

For instance, man possess knowledge in the form of two concepts; conceptualization is a mental process of abstracting and integrating the concretes of one's experience into mental units, such as "table" or "chair". Abstractions must be abstracted from something; they must be acquired through mental effort. Man also requires a method to distinguish true beliefs from false beliefs; this is the function of verification.

These two elements -acquisition and verification - are essential to the concept of knowledge as we understand it. Knowledge must come from somewhere, and it must be verified by some means.

Has God acquired his knowledge? Has he verified it? Is there another way to describe the knowledge of God?

spoke to people through dreams..like he did Joseph, Daniel, the Pharoah, the cup bearer and the baker etc. within each of these stories God either has given someone the ability to interpret their dream or they by the spirit of God interprets it themself..do you thing that God still speaks to people through dreams? because I have been having a series of dream lately that have been very thought provoking to me. I had a dream that my ex has been following me..... and then he told me that he would speak to me on a Tuesday or on Tuesday would be the day we'd speak. In the dream he followed and copied everything i did,he was following the car that i was passenger in, I waved at him and he waved back everything i did, he did back. I have been dreaming about him alot lately for the past 4 months in a different ways, i know they mean something because some have come to pass in different ways. His child's mother is also in a number of my dreams not in a positive way though. what could they mean

My husband says sit back and cruise. Others say give it to god.
what does this mean. Does it mean to trust the universe and everything that if provides? Does it mean to trust and have faith in yourself. That old term of everything happens for a reason? Or your on the right path. What does it mean? And how is it different for you compared to how others may view it to be?

We seem to read a lot into what christ didn't address specifically in the bible, don't we? We insist homosexuals are an abomination because Jesus never addressed it in the new testament, so the old testament rules, which christians don't to follow anyway, are still in effect--however we have no Idea what he was doing from the time he was ten to the time he was thirty, do we? Pieces of the tale have been left out. Why can't we admit that these books were written by mere mortal FALLABLE men with their own agendas? Or that Christ did not always have an audience recording his every move? There are websites showing proof from the bible that Christ may have had lovers, but you denounce it all as mistranslation and insist that Christ never had sex at all--how many people would he have invited to watch if he'd had? We have such a thorough and in depth study of his life that every time he went potty he had 12 witnesses recording it in the bible right?
