My Pasto preached an awesome message on Is it Vain to Serve the Lord. I don't think it's vain at all to serve the Lord at All, I enjoy serving God. I just want to know what everyone else has to say and why they say what they say and to give their own testimonies. I would really appreciate it, THANKS!!!!

The Bible does not say it is vain to serve the Lord. It does say that to serve Him is to be humble. Also the verses you mentioned call arrogance an evil thing that will be punished.

it can be ... have you read in Matthew how JESUS described the religiouys leaders of the day? HE said don't let your right hand know what your left hand is doing. once you get the idea of humble servitude, you can show your love towards HIM by serving HIM> you are answering the call of the HOLY SPIRIT. Keep reading your BIBLE and you soon get the picture... but read don't listen...
