maybe they are, maybe they arent,,
the real question is this: If they are the chosen ones, are they doing what God requires of them?

Yes, but modern day Israel is not only a state in the middle east.
There is the state of Israel comprised mostly of the House of Judah.
There is the House of Israel comprised of the northern ten tribes which migrated into Europe, United States, Canada and etc.

Chosen I suppose, but if an Israeli individual wants to be of the "elect" then they need to follow the Law and understand the Law. Most Israelis don't necessarily agree with everything the government does. I would do the world a lot of good if you and the Palestinians understood this.

The original isreali were the chosen one, they were greatly loved by God and God had given them everything they wanted but they always disobeyed Him , like wht they did with Jesus(pbuh) etc....Well for present Israel... though they are powerful but i dont think they are the chosen ones( God knows better) , even the place they are living , they have snatched it by politics and military

One theory of Christian interpretation proposes that they are. This is why Fundamentalist Christians do not spend a lot of time trying to 'save' the Jews, while working very hard to convert everyone else. They believe that the Jews alive when "Jesus returns" will suddenly believe of their own accord (this by the way is offensive to most Jews) that they missed the whole thing about Jesus and will jump on Board.

The Jews (the nation of Israel) were chosen by G-d to fulfill all the commandments (all 613 of them), that's it... It means that G-d loves us all since we are all His children.

They've always been God's chosen people and always will be. God has a plan of redemption and reconciliation for them specifically (Romans 10-11)

They are descendants of the Jews , God called his chosen people. They still qualify. God hasn't changed his mind, but he wants them to accept the messiah he sent, Jesus.

Yes. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and so are His promises. HE did not chose them because HE knew they would be faithful to Him(in case that is your next question) HE placed HIS name there for HIS own reasons and HE will finish what HE started. HE will "bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel"

They think so, but who can tell? There's no proof. Still, if anyone deserves some good stuff to happen to them after all the suffering they've endured over thousands of years (and today!), it's the Jews, wherever they are.
