Have you ever considered the fact that religious leaders have been saying it is the endtimes for hundreds of years. They were preaching it in the 1960's-70's during the "hippie" reovlution. They were preaching it during the black plague in Medi-evil times. They were preaching it during the fall of Rome around 400 CE. Preaching the endtimes gives religious leaders more power b/c it instills fear in people. They preach the endtimes when ever anything is going on that is different and dangerous, like the terroist attacks. Don't you think people beleived it was the endtimes during the struggle with the Soviet Union, or during WW2 or WW1. It is the same old story over and over. Don't be a sucker, read history.

It's possible but I don't think so. People are the same all through time. I think they needed great strength after Jesus was crucified just admitting they were followers of him. Most of the Apostles and believers were killed for it. Same with the inquisitions of the medieval times. God needs strong people in any era. I think we are like them.

He doesnt need us. Scripture says that many will fall away during the end times. Their hearts will wax cold. Many people will be deceived. Jesus says that if the times were not shortened, not even the elect would be saved.
He did tell us to endure, keep the faith until the end (of our lives).
But, when we are weak, He is strong.....

It is as if a huge cauldron of fire... a massive black hole has reduced the whole of the Cosmos to the size of half a thumb. It is this stage when every single soul atman in the Cosmos in whatever stage of life it may be liberates after gaining enlightenment and salvation. There is just no escape for the collapse of the whole of Cosmos has occurred.

most religious people today- in my opinion- aren't strong. they just won't listen to anything/anyone that disagrees with them. religion is about enlightenment, most people today are who claim to be enlightened are further from enlightenment than the ones they call ignorant.
