My brother works both saturdays and sundays now at Taco Bell... I thought that it would please the lord for me to kill him but I see now that Jesus told us that's not okay. But Jesus also said "If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for yoour whole body to go into hell" - Matthew 5:29-30

So should Ronnie (my brother) cut off his Taco making hands... or do Old Testament sins not count?

Then how can muslims say that a women & men are equal. Other than pious homilies about women why does not Islam give equal benefit to women in areas where it will REALLY help them.

I am aware the half inheritance rights given to muslim women were far ahead their time when originally given. However now when even the lesser developed countries have given women equal inheritance rights, the rights of muslim women are far behind the times. Is is not time to change.

I read some passages in the bible about "mediums". My understanding of it is that people aren't suppose to contact them because it will open the door to evil spirits. One certain passage says: "'A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads." Why is it evil if "Mediums" just have that special gift? They can't help it if they are born with it. Please help me to understand.

I always assumed they did. If one says there is only one all-knowing, all-powerful god. And another says there is only one all-knowing, all-powerful god then can't we assume that they are referring to the same entity.

I just read an answer to another question where the user said "don't be fooled, the God of Jesus Christ is not the God of Islam"

In my opinion, this is the problem with religious nuts, they can be completely illogical?

I still believe that there should only be one God(be it Allah,Jesus,El Shaddai etc)but writers have different interpretations of events thus developed religions of all sorts and now we are all fighting on "Who will be saved at the end times?" Can't we have PEACE?

Hi there...sorry I was heated...spent most of the evening on the phone with police.

Some of you dont believe a girl was here last night asking questions about suicide, if G-d forgives it, what prayers to read at a funeral, etc. Well it happened, from the bottom of my heart, ON the BIBLE I swear. If you really want proof, email me.

She got many responses telling her how G-d is fake, and only a few asking if she is ok, or needed someone to listen. I told her i was a psych major, and will listen with no BIble at all.

She emailed me this morning before she said she was about to commit suicide. I am still waiting on police to hear the answer.

ANYWAYS.....all I am saying is sorry for the outburst...and when we see someone new, asking questions like that, lets put the agendas down for a moment.
