Wow. Keep reading, you are getting somewhere.

When Jesus said he did not come to destroy the law, he also said he came to pay the debt for our breaking of the law.

Jesus did not abolish the law, for it is written in our hearts also. He came and paid our penalty, which was death, for our having broken the law. Now a bit further into the new testament you will find where Jesus (God) told Peter that all was now clean and allowable to eat. This was not the first time that food laws were changed. They were also changed after the flood, when it was now allowed to eat meat rather than just plants.

Its all in the bible and I encourage you to continue studying and asking questions.

Peter followed no one but Jesus and his teachings, and after the rules were changed regarding unclean foods and gentiles, Peter accepted and followed the new rules just as Noah did after the flood.

Are you familiar with the ceremonial dinner Days? those are the THE regulations that He fulfilled. He also lived through Torah in a proper way, yet that's no longer what it really is speaking about. Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth bypass, one jot or one tittle shall in no smart bypass from the regulation, till all be fulfilled. Christianity says that the is already fulfilled. So what does this verse advise? back, lets look on the ceremonial dinner Days. at the same time as Yahushua died He fulfilled Passover. that is the first of the Feasts. next at the same time as He replaced into buried He fulfilled Unleavened Bread. This replaced into the 2d ceremonial dinner. He had no sin in Him that's represented through leavening. After that we His resurrection. that is First culmination. because he's the first of the Resurrected to eternal life. at the same time as the He ascended to Heaven that represented Shavuot. also the Holy Ghost replaced into given. the autumn Feasts are those which have not been fulfilled. they're Trumpets, which represents His go back. Yom Terruah or Day of Atonement. that is Judgment. finally, Sukkot or Tabernacles. This represents the marriage ceremonial dinner the position the Bride (us) are finally joined to our husband and Messiah (a similar human being). Now the single thousand 12 months reign starts! it really is stupid to imagine that He positioned an end to the Torah. In John a million we are advised that he's the residing Torah! If that is actual, then why ought to He surely rip His heart out and throw it aside? The commandments are the starting up of what gadgets His human beings except for the international locations. Deu 4:6 keep hence and do them; for that is your expertise and your information interior the sight of the international locations, which shall listen those type of statutes, and say, easily this tremendous united states is a sensible and information human beings. Deu 4:7 For what united states is there so tremendous, who hath elohim so nigh unto them, as Yahweh our Elohim is in all issues that we call upon him for? Deu 4:8 And what united states is there so tremendous, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this regulation, which I set in the previous you at present?

Please read the beginning of Genesis. When God created all things He said that it was good, including the pig. But because of sin, certain animals became identified as "unclean" under the Law of Moses. The Lord said in Genesis to the serpent, "you are cursed above all cattle". Meaning, that all cattle was now cursed, but the serpent was curse above all animals. But Jesus came to take away the curse of through the Cross. That' why the Apostle Paul later says that all food is "good" to eat if it recieved with thanksgiving and prayer, because prayer consecrates whatever you eat. This includes even pork. Pork that was considered unclean in the Old Testement can now be made holy through prayer. After all, this is God's desire, to restore things they were in the Garden of Eden, where all things were holy.

You need to finish the passage, Jesus said, "Think not that I have come to destroy the Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill" Christ came to fulfill the Law of Moses. So when Christ Fulfilled the Law he started to reveal new things to the peope and removing many of the commandments that were bound by the Law of Moses.

Thanks for the polite request. The food laws were removed because people were still looking at outward material things. So they were mostly dropped so we could look at the heart. ie:circumcision, food
