LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that's still sinful. And Taco Bell is awesome so I don't know what you're talking about... ;-)
PS: This was NOT a terrible joke. It made ME laugh :-) People need to stop taking stuff so seriously, it's getting quite pathetic...

The old testament is for a background, the new testament is about now. When Jesus was crucified is when it changed things. We don't need to cut our arms or legs off or sacrifice cattle to repay for wrong doings now because Jesus the perfect lamb of God was sacrificed for all of our sins. All we need to do now is ask for forgiveness and change from our wrongful ways and we will be forgiven. I don't know what sin your brother did but he doesn't need to cut anything off. Jesus hears everything everywhere all the time. A Pastor told me once, "working on a Sunday is not a sin as long as you still set time out to honor Jesus and go to church." But really if you think about it shouldn't everyday be the Sabbath? Jesus isn't just Jesus on only one day of the week He's everyday all the time Jesus. So I you work Sunday but go to church Monday or Wednesday then you are still honoring Him and setting time for Him. Really a name of a day doesn't matter it's that you do honor Him on a regular basis.

Jesus also says when your Cow is in the mire you pull it out on the Sabbath.
So I guess all Patients in Hospitals should die or not be there because they are unable to take care of themselves Nurses and DR work on Sunday. If people didn't buy at taco bell on Sunday there would be no need for your brother to work.
So in other words those who eat at Taco bell on Sunday are breaking the bigger commandment by making your brother work.
My son used to work at taco bell as a GM and they all had to trade Sundays off no one had it off all the time.
Its more important that he just believes and attends when he can until he can seek another job where he gets Sunday off.
Judge not least ye be judged.

As far as I'm aware, making tacos is not a sin. If it's the working on a Sunday that's bothering you, you have quite the killing spree to go on.

I believe Christ was talking about the body symbolically to refer to his body. The body of believers. Christ is our sabbath rest. Not any particular day but all days. The OT law was the shadow of things to come, and Christ has come so when there is a change of the Priesthood there must also be a change of the law. Christ made a new law, a new covenant with His precious blood and the 2 commandments given are founded on love. Love God and love your neighbor.

If your brother wants to cut his hand off on the basis of some ancient gibberish (and believe it or not, some people have done it), you should have him committed to a psychiatric facility. Go and sin no more.

No. Making tacos would not require that sort of sacrifice. Now if he were to make shrimp or fix BBQ then I may have to rethink my stance but tacos are kosher..it's all good.
