It was amazing. I called Hinn Ministeries and told them that I was suffering from a condition that struck me suddenly after I had jogged with a friend for 5 miles last July. My mouth became very dry and I had trouble swallowing. The Hinn Ministeries put Benny on the phone and, after I pledged $500, he told me to fill a glass with the clear liquid that emerges from the kitchen faucet. He then said that I needed to drink this liquid and say a prayer to the Holy Spirit. The results? Miraculous! Almost immediately, my mouth was no longer dry! Don't tell ME that he's a phony!

Many talk about the second coming of Christ, but what would they expect Christ to look like, how would he arrive, and what would be the signs by which he may be recognised?

Would he wear a thorny crown and drag a wooden cross, in order for people to recognise him?

OR

Would he be an exceptional human being (whether man, or woman), of superior intelligence and wisdom, attempting to teach people with the view of enabling humanity to assimilate to the Spiritual Age, we recently entered?

All sensible replies will be appreciated.

Many thanks to all who offer their thoughts.

Atheists believe that the univers and everything that exists just came to be by accident...

Here is the problem...

The universe is full of Data, full of distinct pieces of information, "which all must be formatted in the same special way in order to fit together". But what is data: (facts, information, advice). And where did this Data come from?

How did a billion pieces of unorganized data manipulate 'itself' to create a collection of instructions necessary to build 1 organized super complex working cell?

By randomness? But even the act of randomness is a process of selection, and therefore randomness itself cannot take place without organized programmation. Randomness is a quality which requires action and therefore it requires instructions.

The only possible answer is creation by higher power. The universe started with a THOUGHT. Its a proven fact.

So if you fail in plan A, plan B is activated, fail in that Plan C, by fail I mean you didn't obey your call perhaps, or missed that opportunity. Or just one plan because God already knows the mistakes we will make(but this of course doesn't negate free-will)

IT'S LIKE WE HAVE A NEW 9/11 ATTACK EVERY 3 WEEKS. The greed of insurance and medical companies kills more people than Muslims. The World Health Organization ranks the United States 35th in health care. It is far behind the nations that have universal health care. Universal health care saves lives and money. USA only industrialized democracy not to have it.

The Bible says that the Holy Spirit goes wherever He wishes (John 3:8) but from watching Benny Hinn on TV, it looks like the Holy Spirit goes wherever Benny wishes.

What's up?

The Shari'a, or Islamic Law, asks for an absurdly high, nearly impossible to achieve and illogical test to prove rape cases. To make matters worse, the 'four witness' requirement came directly from Muhammad.

Riyadh, 28 Nov. (AKI) - In apparent recognition of rising rates of sexual violence in the Kingdom, Saudi Arabia has opened a specialised clinic to carry out tests on rape victims, Gulf News reports. The establishment of the clinic comes after a teenage gang rape case that has triggered debate. The Girl of Qatif, as she has been dubbed by the Saudi media, was sentenced to more lashes than one of her alleged rapists received...

Most Christian teenagers like to listen to rap lyrics about drugs/violence/sex/money

I know because I got their answers from this site.

I'm an Atheist rapper. A few of the "Christians" hated my music just by reading the titles.

1. Americans Are Overweight
2. She wants a Black Man ( A true story)
3. Loose Screws (making fun of religious hypocrites)
4. Ignorant (about rappers rapping about the same thing)
5. Dyke Chick (making fun of lesbians)
6. The truth Hurts (bashing catholic priest who molest children)
7. Believe (believe in yourself)
8. Treat You Right (making a good relationship)
9. Shut Up (nagging women)
10.Controlled by the Pu$$y (making fun of men being crazy for sex)

Listen to the songs here

Every human civilsation and race has religious beliefs since the very beginning.
So if spirituality is such a gimmick as atheists claim then you are attacking evolutionary enhancement as well. Evolution is the survival of the fittest so evolution has come up with religion for mankind as a favorable trait. So why attack it if we evolved to have spiritual hunger as a benefit?
Are not the those who believe in a deity doing what they are evolved to do?

This strengthens me that it was that God created humans because he made us and only us with the capacity of spirituality. Primates have no spirituality or other qualities that humans possess. Because we were made in the image of God.

just a friendly debate-
i believe that there is more power in LOVE verses fear, and that's how i judge things. if i realize that i'm doing something motivated out of fear, that's how i know i am on the wrong track. fear is the greatest motivator, especially if you want to get people to do or behave like you want them to.

and yes, this is a follow up to the rapture question. is fear is the basis for your believing? I believe if anyone were truly in touch with God, or truly "excepted Jesus in your heart" (which could be a metaphor for achieveing Christ Consciousness) there would be no fear at all, and you would eminate peace and joy.
