...of Christ?

The Born Again Christ taught is not the same as what the church teaches!
Read the whole chapter!
Christ said Elijah reincarnated as John the Baptist! Matthew 11, and 17.
Christ said we will do signs and wonders, and even greater things in his name. So why do many blaspheme the Holy Spirit, and say it all comes from
Satan?

why do you have the need to worship something invisible, which isn't even proved. Im atheist, I dont believe in god. And Ill pass away the same way you will or anyone on this earth will. Go down threshers, get a bottle of wine, get p*ssed and live life to the full. Stop being supressed. The worlds problems are normally always religion based. Get over it !

My sister-inlaws 14 year old brother hung himself lastnight. He is in the hospital and not doing good. He was with out oxygen for 15-20 mins. He made it through the night, but now his organs are shutting down. Please pray. I believe in a big God and I believe in miricales. This family has had a hard life. The Bible says we will see and do greater things than Jesus did. Please pray with us for a reversal healing. Thank you so much!

I feel so alone in my decision to open my mind to different possibilities.
I am just tired of people not being able to think for themselves about what could be after death.
Does ANYONE agree with me?

Given the evil proliferating in the world and the lack of divine intervention. Everywhere you look ....doom and gloom. Is God dead? or has he just given up on the human race...and gone to the planet Gonk?

for everyone to simply step back and realize that as we are all individuals we are all going to have different opinions about everything, including religion? Once we have that thought down, why would you insult anyone's opinion? Would you insult their views on world politics, child-rearing, food choice, etc.? Why do we have so little acceptance for different religious beliefs if we can over look differences in other things?

Where are we heading towards. The Government of different countries are going on taking actions on the law breakers. Still PEACE does not exist all over this World. " If I where to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion, provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes.
But, if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it. I should be rightly be thought to be talking nonsense
If however, the existence of such a teapot were affirmed in ancient books, taught as the sacred truth every sunday and instilled into the minds of children at school, hesitation to believe in its existence would become a mark of eccentricity and entitle the doubter to the attention of the psychiatrist in an enlightened or of the inquisitor in an earlier time."

How many people here would disagree and if so please tell me why?

just a question to stimulate thinking...if you had two universes or realities to choose from, and you could make reality one of the two, which would you choose;
a reality where we are our own god; truth, right and wrong are relative; love, beauty and grandeur are mere illusions caused by chemical reactions in the brain, no life after death, live life for the moment, if it feels good and doesn't hurt anyone, do it!
or
One God exists that created everything, is all powerful, all loving, perfect love, and perfect justice. God sets the ground rules for what is right and wrong, and truth is absolute. He is goodness personified. He requires worship and submitting to His Lordship (if He is creator of all things, anything less would be illogical and destructive, out of balance). For those who give up right to be their own god and follow Him, He promises the most fulfilling life here and forever in perfect bliss with Him/each other.
