The Jewish people have a rich heritage of spiritual knowledge. They are keepers of traditions that would have long since vanished without their special care.

The Jews are God's chosen people. He has taken care of them all through the years, no matter how many times they reject Him. Unfortunately, they are misled in that they are still waiting for the Messiah even though He already came as a baby in a manger, more than two thousand years ago.
Have a Merry Christmas!
(Let's put the Christ back in CHRISTmas!)

I respect their devotion and preservation of their traditions. I appreciate the fact that they don't proselytize. Those that I've known have been very educated and knowledgeable. I like how the Jewish communities support each other rather than bicker. They have a common bond that links them together that you can sense.

I admire the rich scholastic history of Judaism, the seriousness with which it has investigated ethical and theological issues. I also admire the Jewish people themselves, who have survived against all odds in the face of constant persecution since the bronze age. May the Lord bless the Jewish people abundantly.

As far as religious peoples go, the Jewish are some of the most intellectual. They study and hold their beliefs as no other religion does. They keep their rituals just as alive as they were when they first began.

I have to laugh at Yoda's comment about the food. That is right, I think too.....and he is probably referring to Ashkenazim (Eastern European) very bland food. But, he should try our Sephardim Jewish food from the Mediterranean and the Mid-east. It's the best food in the world!

These questions are really out there. There are good and bad people in every religion. You can't lump all Jews together...nobody is alike.

I'm deeply grateful for the Prophets of the Hebrew Scriptures -- they taught justice and mercy to the human race.
I love the piety of the Hasidim.
