certainly mankind is facing another crisis. there have been many faced in the past and more to face in the future. GOD is not dead and is willing to help those who help themselves. we have been given a brain and a certain amount of intelligence to use in solving our problems. let us all get together and use our brains to solve our own problems rather than wring our hands and " let GOD solve our problems. "

First off, everywhere you look is NOT doom and gloom. There is still much good in the world, it's just that we tend to focus on the bad.

God isn't dead, but he does play hide and seek, so seek and ye shall find. ;-)

The only real god is the Cosmos. That means God is still very much alive and always has been alive, and may always be. The gods described by mankind were never alive to begin with; they are the inventions of humans.

God is the source of all natural and scientific laws, and you and I work within the framework of those laws. God neither interferes with us nor judges us. Whatever is wrong with the world is a reflection of what's wrong with humans.

There is a lot of doom and gloom but God is not dead.
God is beyond birth and death.
God has great forgiveness for us humans.
God does not appear to be directly involved in guiding us back to the straight and narrow at present as we are not ready to be guided.
It's like trying to teach a new born baby to walk.
We will come through this doom and gloom somehow.

No, How can that be God can't be destroyed, and as for you saying the world is getting worse, I beg to differ:
For starters people are finally getting enlightenment as been whats been happening for centuries. If you think that rapes of children, murder, violence, greed, all negative things hasn't been as bad in history look closer. People have always been that way, we haven't really gotten any worse or really any better. God dosen't give divine intervention through christianity or any religion nut in our daily lives, because God is spiritual and limitless, the problem with humans is they don't like the fact that they can't control God so they use religon.. Not to offend anyone's beliefs.
God loves us all and wants to help us and wants us to be happy, truly happy, When we are happy he/she is smiling down on us. We're not God because were not him/her but since God created us we're part of him/her.

God is eternal, merciful and benevolent. God will never abandon human. God had already descended the final religion to all mankind. God will leave the decision to those believers to deal with their problems, devil is nothing as compared to the Almighty, but if to the extend of provoking God's anger........we shall see what God will do...

From the Christian perspective (mine):
God is the living God, he is as much alive as you and I, the reason we have evil in the world is because of the Devil (satan) take Job from the Bible, Satan ripped Jobs life apart, by taking the lives of his entire family, his wordly goods etc. but Job plunged on, serving God instead of falling to the grasp of Satan. God gave us all a free will to do good or evil, it is up to us to choice good, alot of people dont that is why the Devil has so much power, becuase people give it to him NOT God. God is not responcible for evil, men and Satan are.

God doesnt give up on us, we give up on him. God doesnt cause Evil, God is pure and can not. God does not send people to Hell, people send thereselves to hell.

Hope this helps!

Why is there so much evil today? humm maybe because we take God out of school out of Court houses etc. It isnt God that is causing havic it is us as an society!

Glenn,
God is ALIVE and well and allowing His plan for this world to play out according to His rules. The evil created by mankind is of their own doing. According to his Word, things will get so bad the He will return and intervene to save the world and mankind from total destruction. You can take that to the bank!!

The reason there's so much gloom instead of groom is simply because ppl give place and worship to Law instead of Grace.

Of two Gods(Spirits) portrayed in the Bible, one if awful lawful, sacrificial, warring; And one is grace us, mercy full, peace full.

"The God of all grace" is no law at all.
"The God of all comfort" is no discomfort at all.
"That God" is light having no darkness at all.

Friend: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee... Grace
Enmity: I will forsake you, the city, your fathers... Law
Christ is our "peace" who abolished the enmity(law): Eph 2

Grace: constructive (groom)
Law: destructive (gloom)

Higher God: in heaven: higher than the heavens... Grace
God on high: in the plural and divided heavens... Law
Ye are not under the law, but under grace... if led of the Spirit

ppl recovering from getting high usually speak of a higher power

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

There never was a god. Grow up. Evil is just bad things happening - it is illogical to personify it. The concept of god is dying, to be sure, and about time too. We need a few good decades without even one human being uttering, thinking or acting along religious lines. Then we may start to have some self-respect as the ultimate thinking machines in the known universe.
