Yes everything you take in externally has an affect on the internal. Why would you choose to eat garbage when you can have a steak. I will not give you the satisfaction of listening to garbage, which is what your titles reflect. i do not have to listen to the song to know what it is about when your titles explain it clearly enough. The youth are always susceptible to takening the easier path or the one most of their friends are walking. Otherwise the youth would not be in such a perilous position today. There morals and decency are being muddled with outside infuence. And we have people like you to thank for it as well as ourselves for not taking more of an interest in what our children are listening to and watching.

I'm not a fan of rap music, mainly because it seems the songs are just about sex/money/drugs/violence and not very talented, nor thought-provoking. Yet, those rappers can always be seen wearing a huge cross and think they are very Christian.
Your rap sounds interesting, I think I'll check it out when I get home. =)

No, I'll listen to anything as long as it isnt negative in any way, or giving out negative messages (or makes me feel crazy like heavy metal) in other words, anything but that and rap because 99.9% of the time, the rap is about what you said above, and that damages young males, especially black males' minds for the future, BUT as you and I know, your music is different. keep up the good work, Im a fan :)

I am a musician, and in my opinion, rap isn't music. It's just a continuation of the '50's Beatnick scene. While your rap at least sounds more intelligent than most of the cr@p out there, I can see how some Christians would hate even yours. Believe in yourself sounds good until you realize that we are all dependent on God. Like Sinatra's 'My Way', it just doesn't fit Christian thought.

Sorry, I don't like rap. I like pure musical form - classical music is my favorite, but I like others as well. However, I do pick and choose what I listen to. If there are messages or words that are offensive, I turn it off. I don't like lyrics that encourage someone to be a gold-digger, hate others, kill others, be disrespectful, flaunt authority, etc. My daughter likes rap, and when she still lived at home (she's 20 and on her own now), we did not allow such music in our home. I previewed every single CD she brought into the house - so I have listened to a lot of rap - just don't like it. It sounds more like poetry spoken in rhythm to me, not music.

It's not just music. It's life in general. The prisons are filled with people who profess to be Christian.

Why do so many people associate morals with religion? Religion is NOT a prerequisite to being a good moral being. I see that you are a fellow Atheist, but you are not helping the situation by associating the two.

The truth about your morals certainly show in the music you choose to listen to.
